Chapter 3: Blake

Olivia's Pov

The next day...

On my way to class I was walking to class that I wasn't looking where I was going. That I accidentally bumped into Blake. ''Hey! Watch where you are going!'' he exclaimed. I looked up. ''Oh I'm so sorry I wasn't looking,'' I said. ''That is why I'm saying that you should watch where you are going,'' said Blake. ''Sorry again,'' I said. ''You are the new girl right?'' he asked me. ''Oh yeah,'' I said. ''I thought so. So that is why Nora was pointing at me yesterday showing you,'' said Blake. ''Yes. And that I shouldn't mess with her man,'' I said. ''Her what?! Wait who?'' he asked me. ''I'm so sorry Blake but I gotta run no time to talk,'' I said.

I ran off to class. Since the school was big and the class was kind of far if I was not careful I was going to be late. I finally reached and again I sat next to Isla. Our teacher encouraged us to join the extra curricular activities. So Isla took me and showed me the list of all the extra activities I can join. I didn't want to join so many so I decided I will just start with gymnastics. I told Isla to join too but she wasn't interested in joining any of them. No sports, no music, no dance, no public speaking, nothing. ''Now come on Isla please join. Just for this once,'' Sophia begged her. ''Wait you mean Isla never joins any extra curricular activity?'' I asked. ''No. Isla always says she's fine,'' said Layla. ''Why Isla?'' I asked her. She looked at me for a while with no response. ''I'm just not interested,'' said Isla. ''Okay Isla but just try doing gymnastics at least. You might say you are fine but when you reach there you find yourself having so much fun,'' said Layla. ''Fine still,'' said Isla. I realised we were going nowhere with this. Isla wasn't going to join and that was final.

There was no use on trying to convince her. ''Layla it's okay. If Isla doesn't want it's fine let her be,'' I said. Layla, Sophia, and myself went to do gymnastics at least Isla came with us just to watch the practice although she wasn't going to do it. Blake was there too and he was talking to Nora. Although he didn't seem quite interested in the conversation. Suddenly he came to me. Nora gave me some kind of look. ''Hey there,'' said Blake. ''Oh hey and bye,'' I said. ''Hey! I just came. What's the rush?'' he asked me. ''Why did you just walk away from Nora like that? Now see she's looking at me somehow,'' I said to him. ''Now come on don't tell me it's about the thing she said about me being her man is it?'' Blake asked me. ''I don't know Blake first go talk to her,'' I said.

Afterwards afterschool Isla stayed a little longer and she took me to the library. ''This is where I like to come to refresh my mind,'' said Isla. ''Library I like it!'' I exclaimed. ''Really?'' she asked me. ''Yes,'' I said to her. We went looking for an interesting novel to read. ''Hey maybe we can read this one,'' I picked out a novel. It was about Queen Aria and the werewolves. I don't know how many times I've read it but I never get tired of it. Queen Aria was just my inspiration. We sat around the table and started reading it. "I guess its a pretty famous novel but I have not read it," said Isla. "Oh really?" I asked her. "Yeah but I've heard about it. I just know a little bit," said Isla. "Well you should consider reading it. It's very interesting and these things really happened," I said. "Yeah I've heard," said Isla.

We saw Blake sitting by himself and drinking juice. "Do you think we should invite him to join us?" asked Isla. "Yeah I guess," I said. I called out to him. "Blake!!!" He came to us. "Whatsupp?" he asked. "Come sit with us," said Isla. ''Oh so it's like this now? But yesterday when I came to Olivia she just walked away from me,'' said Blake. ''Oh now come on Blake you know why,'' I said to him. ''Anyways first time seeing you sitting alone where are your friends?'' asked Isla. ''Oh don't worry about them they are just chilling outside I wanted to chill here,'' said Blake. ''Oh okay well we are reading about this novel about Queen Aria wanna join us?'' asked Isla. He just nodded yes. We were reading and talking but seems like Blake didn't want to comment.

''Okay we will read more next time how interesting! And what do you think Blake you haven't said anything since,'' said Isla. ''Uhh...I don't know what to say,'' said Blake. ''Don't know what to say??? But Blake come on there's alot to say. You can even ask Olivia,'' said Isla. ''Alright so what do you want me to say? There is nothing to say Queen Aria always defeated the werewolves the same old story that's all,'' said Blake. ''Why do you sound like you hate her or something?'' I asked him. ''Hate her? No! No, Queen Aria is our hero don't you know? But somehow the whole story doesn't make sense. I mean have you guys ever wondered with this whole battle why we the humans hate the werewolves anyway?'' asked Blake. ''You have a point there, but I don't think it's just us the humans. Even the werewolves hate us and I don't know why,'' I said. ''Even if,'' said Isla, ''what do the werewolves want anyway? Although I don't know much about them and the whole battle with Queen Aria but I've heard they are quite powerful, strong and pretty fast also they have their own special powers which they are mostly born with so what is it they want?'' asked Isla. ''And are you sure the humans wouldn't like those powers?'' asked Blake, ''I mean like let's be serious who wouldn't want these supernatural powers,'' he said.

We continued talking. I was confused with Blake though. It was like he was on the werewolves' side but again he supported the humans so...it was hard to tell what he was saying. Could I blame him though? No. This whole battle was confusing anyway. There has never been any clear explanation on why and how this battle started and that was so weird.

After hanging out with Isla and Blake I finally went home. The week was going by fast and soon it would be my test. So, of course I went for more training never missed a day and when Zardie was free we would train together. But this time I trained so much that I lost track of the time. Zardie was calling me saying it's late I started walking home but just when I was about to reach the house I saw something at first I couldn't clearly see what it was until...my eyes couldn't believe this!
