Outside the school gate, Chen xi's had driver arrived only to find his young lady bruised.

"Milady what happened to you, did anyone attack you?" He asked with a concerned voice.

"Nobody attacked me just, bruise myself trying to practice. Did something happen to father" she asked since today was the day her father was going to pick her up after his arrival.

"It a complicated thing to explain but it's all been resolved" the driver responded as he helped Chen xi into the car before closing it. Their conversation continued as he entered into the car driving away from the school gate "A few days after the young lady left the master was attacked by some unknown people but surprisingly all the person did was kick the master and run a way very fast. At first we thought it was just a regular hit from a opposing party"

"Then what was it?"Chen xi asked not wanting to be kept in suspense.

"We realized later that the Master was poisoned but we all were not sure when that happened so nice there was no sign of food poisoning,air poisoning or the poisoned by contact. We invited the family doctor but he said that the source of the poison was unknown

"And that the life essence of the master was practically being drained slowly. Since it was being drained slowly, we thought that there was enough time to study the poison buh who knew that yesterday it would relapse so seriously that his heartbeat almost met it's last"

Upon hearing this Chen xi felt curious since her father's enemies could be counted with her five fingers (🤌) also how did the person who fought her know that her father encountered such thing and how did he even know where to find her?. Also judging from the strength of the person he should be a high level martial artist.

"Milady is anything wrong" the driver asked noticing that she was lost in thought and didn't respond to his narration of the event.

"Yes , what were you saying" Chen xi asked not catching what he asked.

"But I feel that this situation is very bizarre, because just as we were about taking the master to the hospital for treatment he regained his strength though he seem to be a little dispirited, he was diagnosed to be in good shape".

"It already good that father is alright. Let's speed up a little bit I want see father "

Tang Yan went to the school roof top and sat cross legged breathing loudly. The surrounding neighbors scolded Tang Yan for his sudden scream as they looked from their window. It was hard to believe that no one asked him what he was doing atop the school building a prestigious and we'll respected one at that.

Knowing that he had alerted the school patrol guards and security he jumped all the way down outside the school before running into the alley.
