I want Alan to develop his character better because in the whole story he has been nothing more than a passive character and with respect to Paul, I want him to develop his sense of leadership, because they are going to need it a lot, after all, they are both very important characters in the story.

Regarding Ethan, he will be back after this volume which will last for sure until chapter 80 or maybe 100.
