"You are here! Detective Alice!" Detective Alex reached forward, grabbed my wrist, and pulled me to the general office. I had no idea what happened before I arrived in the department.
"What is happening here? Did I miss anything?" I whispered to Detective Sayer and Detective Alex. My eyes narrowed to the board and everyone in the room. I was just standing beside other officers.
After a few minutes of waiting, Chief Rylan finally arrived with his Chief of Staff. I have not felt the sense of odd throughout my life. In fact, everything that surrounds me is ruthless, just like how I vision my life before.?
"I am glad that everyone is here because I have an alarming announcement to make." Chief Rylan said. Everyone was sharing looks, and it was more visible they were worried about what comes after next. Chief Rylan had to take a deep breath before he continued.?
