After the short break, I went to the restroom before going back to the interrogation room. "Good afternoon, Detective Alice. I did not know you would be here." Ms. Wildes came in with her purse. "I had to have a bathroom break, which is why." She must be sociable, but given her career, she has to.
After washing and drying my hands, I accidentally bumped into Ms. Wildes when turning back. "I am so sorry, Ms. Wildes. Let me pick up these for you." It was unsettling for us; I then picked every piece from her purse when I suddenly saw something that shocked me more. "Oh, it's okay, Detective Alice. But thank you for helping." She said when I handed her the purse.
It is time to continue the cross-examination with Ms. Wildes. When I sat down, the only question I had in mind was, "Why does she have that with her?"
