Silph

Silph Corporation was tied with the original story within the first games.

It was known as the leading manufacturer of Pokémon technology which develops most commercially used Pokéballs and other Pokémon-related items, including medicine and Technical Machines.

Their main focus was to look for ways to further develop their products which were being supplied to the Pokémarts in each territory.

The president of Silph Corporation was believed to be a kind old man so there was not a lot to suspect from him and his companies goals.

The main issue came from the scientists and operatives of Team Rocket which had or would infiltrate Silph Corporation in order to let the Team Rocket leader Giovanni a tight stranglehold over the president and the company.

Silph Corporation became a target due to its high status and there were many types of technologies that Team Rocket coveted.

One such item they had their eyes on was the Silph Scope which would be used to combat ghosts which would later be known to the players as there being another hidden agenda involved.

The main objective of Team Rocket was to target the top secret development project related to the creation of the Master Ball which can catch any pokemon without fail.

If Team Rocket could get their hands on a single Master Ball or worse, the designs to create them, their power would grow rapidly making it difficult for any other group to stand against them.

If it was possible to mass produce them then they would be able to capture all kinds of rare and impossible to catch Pokémon of very high levels of power.

With how Giovanni's obsession was towards Mew, he would use a Master Ball to capture it and would end up becoming even more powerful.

Kimi thought to herself. 'Even if he does get Mew, it is difficult to say if he will drop his other plans. Since he has tasted success, he would easily become just as greedy for a second success.

It is difficult to imagine him giving up on Mewtwo since he had the means of capturing and containing it.

With both Mew and Mewtwo, he would be an unstoppable force on his own with few that could rival him unless a large group of Legendaries came together to stop him.

Fortunately, Giovanni was destined to fail both times due to other's intervention so Kimi did not need to make a move herself during her previous life.

Giovanni would fail to contain Mewtwo and it would escape his grasp some time later gaining its freedom.

Kimi did not covet the Master Ball for herself since she knew the negative effects of them being released on a larger scale.

One Master Ball would be okay for trainers to have and even she wished to have one to use when she most needed it but so many trainers would go soft from not working hard to defeat or bond with their Pokémon before capturing them.

The relationships between trainers and pokemon would be broken down to the point that everyone that had a larger supply of Master Balls would end up contributing towards the rapidly lowering amount of wild Pokémon being left in the world.

Kimi let out a sigh as she spent several days training and battling outside of Saffron City until the day of her assignment finally came.

She headed out in her usual casual clothes before making her way to the next checkpoint.

In a small bag was a small disguise, some hair dyes, skin creams that change her skin tone and some other items.

Kimi started by dying her hair with the easy to wash out dye then began removing her clothes and applying the skin cream.

She then put on a new pair of clothes which was a long sleeved jumper with a shirt underneath and long pants with shoes.

To complete her disguise, she wore thick glasses and a wooly hat on her head with her hair coming out of the hat and hanging loosely.

She took out the makeup kit and applied some extra features on her face resulting in her completed disguise.

Kimi looked in the mirror and admired herself. "You can hardly recognise me like this. My teal green hair is now black, my red eyes are difficult to make out properly due to the thick glasses lenses, my skin is so much paler now and I have several freckles."

She was very pleased with the final result and put aside the items she no longer needed while packing the items she still needed.

Looking at her new identity, Kimi smiled as she left the building after putting away everything back in the right place. "It has been so long since I have done an undercover task. I hope I do not mess this up."

Leaving the building behind, her footsteps carried her back towards Saffron City where she showed her new identity card putting on a timid persona.

Once she had arrived in Saffron City, Kimi wandered around in her current state for some time going unrecognised by many that had seen her real form before at least once around the city.

It made her more confident as she stepped towards the entrance of Silph Corporation.
