"Haaahhh… finished another book... Only 4 books left huh?" Blanc sighed

After being granted access to a large collection of books by Count Laurelei, the man he works for, He reads books almost every time he has nothing to do.

A few years passed by and he was only left with 4 books among the hundreds of books he had access to.

"Should I go to the library in the capital to borrow some more?"

He pondered as he seriously tried to think of a solution to his problem.

Reading a book and gaining new knowledge is as natural as breathing to him.

The guy cannot live without books.

"Blanc! I told you to accompany me tonight to the training grounds! My father's knights are too scared to be rough with me and I can't get any good training with them. You promised not to read books today and accompany me!".

A recognizable voice sounded behind Blanc and he turned around to look.

The owner of the voice is a fairly tall woman with medium-length brown hair, her facial appearance can be described as beautiful.

She has a small face, amber eyes, and facial features that are pleasant to the eye.

In addition to this, the woman has a toned body which makes it obvious that she has been training physically.

And lastly, the woman has large twin peaks and a bouncy bottom.

The beautiful girl and owner of the voice was the eldest daughter of the Count, Helena Laurelei.

"Yes, yes, so can you release me now? I said I'm going with you so I'm going with you. No need to drag me so hard." Blanc replied.

"Hmmph! You will just escape again if I don't bring you to the training grounds, don't think I don't know you! You've done it many times before and I'm not letting go of you this time!" Helena retorted.

Although the two have different things that they want to do in life, Blanc and Helena grew up together and are really close with one another.

They often accompany each other even while doing what they want—or rather, Blanc is always forced by the physically stronger Helena to sometimes accompany her and train with her like a swordsman.

As a result, although he is not as strong as Helena, it can be said that Blanc is well-trained physically in addition to being intellectually capable—an almost perfect package as a bachelor.

As the two of them were heading towards the training grounds, they heard someone with a cute voice calling them.

"Heyyyy waiiitttt!! Big sister! Big bro Blanc! Wait for me I'm going with you!"

A cute girl with long hair and almost identical facial features to Helena was shouting along the hallway near the library. The girl seemed to be younger than Helena by about 2 years.

The cute girl is none other than Helena's younger sister, Adelaine Laurelei.

Although Blanc and Helena are really close, this little sister of hers loves to tag along with them, and because of this, the three of them grew really close to each other.

"Good! Come with us Adelaine! Let's train together." Helena said

"Ehhh….I don't want to train! I'm just going to watch you and Big Bro Blanc." Adelaine complained.

"Again? Hmpph! Do what you want! Don't blame me if someone bullies you in the future and you can't protect yourself!"

Helena replied in a somewhat annoyed manner.

"Yes yes, big sister is so pretty and strong and loves me very much so just protect me in the future okay~?"

Adelaine replied in a fawning and cute manner.

"Well well well! I am indeed pretty and strong and I also have an understanding personality. Very well then Adelaine! You can count on me to protect you."

Helena replied happily. She was quite satisfied with what this cute little sister of hers said.

Hearing that her compliments worked, Adelaine turned around and smiled craftily.

"Big sister is really easy to deal with, look at her smiling so wide with just a few words of praise. Well, this is why I like her though she's really straightforward, there is no way she can betray someone which makes people trust her wholeheartedly."  Adelaine thought to herself.

Who would've thought that this seemingly naive and cute little girl would turn out to be a clever little foxy!

After the short conversation, Adelaine followed Blanc and Helena to the training grounds.

Upon reaching the training grounds, Blanc and Helena would train for a few hours while Adelaine was happily watching them from the sidelines.

On other days, Blanc would read alone and Helena would train with her father's soldiers.

Of course, whenever they would train together, Adelaine always accompanies them.

This is usually how every week goes for the three of them.

Just like this, two years passed. 

"Hmmm...Let's see..."What crops to raise in terms of emergency", "Current State of Praetoria Continent","Wild animals and their characteristics".. These three seem good! Pity that I can only borrow three books at a time."

By this time, Blanc had already finished reading all the books in the Count's Library.

As a solution, Instead of going to the kingdom capital's library which is very far, He goes around the libraries of the nearest cities from Count Laurelei's domain and borrows three books every week.

Today, he is on his weekly book-borrowing routine.

He thought that this was the perfect solution to his problem because he was currently officially hired by the Count to help him manage his fiefdom.

Because of this, he had no time to go to the Kingdom Capital and borrow lots of books.

After successfully borrowing three books of his choice, Blanc exited the library

While walking, Blanc noticed the distressed looks of the people around and felt that something was wrong so he hurriedly went to meet their informant stationed in the city he was in.

After talking to the informant, Blanc learned a shocking piece of information.

"Damn! The Count should hear of this immediately!"

Blanc said to the informant as he traveled straight back home to the Count's manor.
