“Wow. Don’t you know how to make a girl swoon,” she coos up at him, all sweetness that I had noticed earlier now gone and replaced with visibly blatant desire. “She’s a lucky girl.”
“She’s right here,” I snap, starting to step up to her until I’m pulled back by Ashford and pressed firmly into his side.
“You should go. You’re getting my girl all riled up now and I won’t stop her again. But hey, pretty boy over there at the fire is available,” Ashford tells her, his eyes doing that sexy thing they do as he speaks and points Riley out to her.
“Well, if things don’t work out-”
