“I meant hanging out and talking, like normal.”
“I can’t hang out right now.”
“What about tonight?”
“I’m hanging out with Riley.”
“Is there ever going to be time for me? Or does he hold all of it?”
“I’m trying to make time for you right now. I’m not going to apologize for having someone in my life that’s not you.”
“I’m not asking you to apologize. I’m just not used to sharing you with someone else yet,” he groans, becoming frustrated. He takes a calming breath and looks back down at me. “Did you really mean everything you said in English?”
“Every word.”
“You never want to fall in love, get married, and have kids?” His face is tinted with disappointment. “There’s not even a possibility that you’ll change your mind?”
