Oh My Ghost

"Oh my gosh, I was surprised to hear that. Here you drink first to calm down." April held out a glass of water while helping Billy to get up.

Billy wiped the sweat from his face with both hands, trying to catch his breath to calm down a bit. Then he took the glass offered by his mother.

"Are you still dreaming the same thing? Dream of being in the Black Forest, a beautiful werewolf woman committing suicide, and a man being tortured?" April asked.

Again Billy just nodded.

"Oh my, why don't you want to continue treatment at the psychiatrist? I told you that you haven't fully recovered yet, Billy." April grumbled. As a mother, she must have been very worried because of her son's disorder.

"I'm fine, Mom. It was just a dream, after all, Mammy also heard it herself at that time, the doctor said I was fine. I haven't any problem," said Billy.

"But still, Bill. I am worried."

"Don't worry. I'm okay, Mom. After all, it's useless to consult various psychiatrists for several years since I was a child, but where? No changes whatsoever. The proof until now I still often dream like that. So, Mammy doesn't worry, I can handle this myself." Billy looked indifferent.

As someone who is very realistic, Billy knows that what he's going through really doesn't make sense. Because it is impossible for anyone to always dream the same thing for years. But Billy himself was at his wit's end to find the answer. Since childhood, he was often taken to various psychiatric doctors, psychiatrists, and the like. Only to find out the cause of the strange dream he was having. A lot of time and money had been spent on it until Billy himself was tired and decided to stop all his medication. Even though Billy's parents are rich, they are still able to pay for his treatment.

"Billy, I'm sorry, I don't know why you went through all this. Even though you were born normally, you grew up normally, but somehow when you were about 7 years old you started waking up often in the middle of the night because of bad dreams. At first, I thought it was just an ordinary dream, but it turns out that you always dream the same thing even now when you are 23 years old." April said quietly as she took Billy's hand.

"No, Mom. It's not your fault, it's destiny for me. I'm sure, one day I'll be able to find the answer to all those dreams. Maybe it's just not the time," said Billy. He smiled back to calm his beloved woman.

"Thank you, honey."

"Don't mention it, Mom."

The mother and daughter hugged each other so tightly, implying the sincere affection between the two.

"Are you going to the hospital, Billy?" April asked after letting go of her arm.

"Yes, Mom. Anyway, Daddy wants to go to the hospital too right?" Billy asked back.

"Did you forget that Daddy had already left for Germany to check the reports from our hospital that was there," answered April.

Immediately Billy slapped his forehead, "Oh my gosh, I forgot. That means I'm going to the hospital myself today."

"Yeah, don't forget that while Daddy is in Germany you have to replace Daddy's position to lead the hospital. Agree, Doctor Billy?" April smiled seductively at her only son who has now become a great and handsome young doctor.

"Ready, Mama." Billy teased his mother back.

"Okay, hurry up and take a shower. I'll be waiting at the dinner table," April said before she left Billy's room.

After his mother died, Billy immediately got ready to go to the hospital because there must have been a lot of patients waiting for him there. Billy didn't want to think too much about the dream, because he was sure that one day the veil of the dream that had always haunted him would open itself at the right time. Although now all of that is still a big puzzle in his life.

Chapter 7: Strange Patient

Billy arrived at a magnificent hospital in downtown Singapore. He parked his car in the special baseman for staff and doctors. By using a clean white coat, combined with a navy blue shirt and black pants, Billy's handsomeness increases. He didn't forget to straighten his slightly bangs to make it look more presentable because after all, he was a doctor and the son of the hospital owner.

Billy entered the hospital building, several people who passed him seemed to smile and nodded their heads in respect. Of course, Billy immediately replied with a very sweet thin smile.

Mount Elizabeth Hospital is a well-known hospital in Singapore, located on Mount Elizabeth Road in the Orchard City area. This hospital has the best services and very luxurious facilities. Not only that, Mount Elizabeth Hospital is a gathering place for cardiac surgeons and neurosurgeons, one of whom is doctor Billy Davidson.

Billy is a heart surgeon, even though he is still quite young, his ability cannot be underestimated. How could I not, if there was already a natural talent in him passed down by his father who is also an expert doctor in the same field. But today his father is in Indonesia for work.

Billy and his family are from Germany, but because his father used to study in Singapore and eventually worked there, he invited his wife and child to live there too. Unexpectedly his career progressed rapidly until now he was able to establish a very magnificent hospital, in Singapore, his father also founded a branch hospital in Germany which had been entrusted to his younger brother. Billy's family only visited Germany occasionally.

The young doctor went up to the 7th floor using the elevator to his private room. He hadn't had time to see his schedule for today's activities. Because there were so many patients, he had to ask his assistant to make a schedule based on a priority scale.

Billy entered a room that was quite spacious with a work desk, a large bookshelf, a sofa set, and a bathroom. Without wasting any more time, Billy immediately called the nurse who had been his assistant for a long time.

"Vanya, come to my room now."

Not long after, a beautiful woman, tall and slender, wearing an all-white uniform, brought several folders in her hands. Incidentally, Vanya is also from Germany, initially she worked as a trusted nurse for Billy's father in Germany, but because of her very good performance, Vanya was finally invited to work in Germany.

"Good Morning, Doc," said Vanya.

"Good morning too," Billy replied.

"Do you know why I called you here?"

"I know for sure you want to ask for a schedule for today, right?" Vanya asked back with a sweet smile.

"That's right, you always know what I need," Billy replied. That's what Billy likes about Vanya, she is agile at work and always knows what Billy needs before Billy even says it.

"Yes, I have prepared everything, Doc."

"Please tell me, how much is my surgery schedule today?" asked Billy.

Vanya immediately looked at the documents she was carrying, then her brows furrowed slightly, it seems that she had just remembered that today was different from before.

"Doc, I forgot to say that today we will receive a referral patient from a hospital in Germany, to be more precise, this patient was referred by Doctor Angga," said Vanya.

"What's? So Daddy directly referred the patient here? What is the patient's disease?" asked Billy with a hint of surprise. Because it has been a long time since his father, doctor Angga, has never again referred patients from hospitals in Germany to Singapore because the facilities and health workers there are very good. If his father refers the patient here, it means that the patient's illness is very serious and cannot be treated by the doctor there.

"According to the report I received via email this morning, this patient has a heart defect. Ms. She often experienced extreme pain in her heart, like being stabbed, but after being checked there were no problems with her heart. Isn't that weird, Doc?" Vanya shrugged, she was confused when she read the email.

"Gosh, I can't diagnose until I check here myself. So, when will the patient arrive at this hospital?" asked Billy. Hearing the narrative from his assistant, to be honest as a cardiac surgeon, he is still very confused about the patient's condition. Either this is because the doctor there cannot conclude the patient's illness or because other things are not widely known by the doctor there. But what is clear is that it is impossible for the patient to feel pain if there is no cause.

"According to Doctor Angga, the patient will arrive here around 10 am because the plane takes off at 07.30," said Vanya.

"Okay, you can directly contact me when the patient arrives. Honestly, I'm curious about the patient's illness. By the way, apart from that, are there any other scheduled operations today?" asked Billy again.

"No, today you only focused on the patient earlier. Doctor Angga said that Doctor Billy must take full responsibility for the patient and also that the patient gets direct assistance from Doctor Angga, he can get free treatment here until he is declared cured," Vanya again gave information that made Billy's eyes widen.
