Chapter Twenty: I've Waited Too Long (Part Two)
"Help me find out the truth," Tian Bu Huai said directly.
"What truth?" Tian Phai asked in astonishment.
"Hmph, no matter how those bastards try to claim that my brother died in a fight, I won't believe it for a second. I couldn't even kill him with all my might, so how could a bunch of mere strangers accomplish that?" Tian Bu Huai declared.
Tian Phai was surprised by Tian Bu Huai's unwavering conviction, recognizing it as an opportunity to exploit.
"How can you be sure? And what will I gain from helping you?" Tian Phai inquired.
Tian Bu Huai locked eyes with him and explained, "This is where the power of bloodline memories comes into play. With a secret technique, I can extract the memories of deceased individuals who share the same bloodline. Given my connection and familiarity with my younger brother's aura, I am confident I can identify his memories."
Pausing for a moment, Tian Bu Huai continued, "In exchange for your assistance, I will teach you everything I know. That's what you will gain."
Tian Phai couldn't deny that he was enticed by the offer. As someone from Earth, his knowledge of this world was limited, and he held little optimism about the memories of his original five-year-old body. Thus, Tian Phai replied, "If you can provide all that, what do you want me to do?"
Tian Bu Huai breathed a sigh of relief, gratitude shimmering in his gaze. However, he remained focused on their objective and said, "First, sit down and leave the rest to me."
Tian Phai settled onto the sandy beach, observing Tian Bu Huai's actions with curiosity.
The aura surrounding Tian Bu Huai transformed, resembling an erupting volcano. His hair turned a vibrant red, and an intense heat radiated from him, causing even the ocean around them to evaporate. The boiling, steaming water extended as far as Tian Phai's gaze could see, engulfing the surroundings.
But that wasn't the end of the spectacle. Suddenly, a chilling wave of cold surged forth, accompanied by strands of blue hair intermingling with the red. Tian Bu Huai's hair became an enchanting combination of both colors, symbolizing the first battle form of the hegemonic sun-moon bloodline.
Regret tinged Tian Bu Huai's words as he said, "Unfortunately, without my original body, I can only achieve the initial state of the Sun Moon Hegemonic Body. But it's enough to accomplish what I desire."
Looking at Tian Phai, Tian Bu Huai requested, "I need a small amount of your blood."
As Tian Phai pondered, a few drops of blood materialized before him within the space. He knew that it was his own blood since his existence was currently only spiritual, residing within his own body. As the master of this space, he had control over such matters.
Tian Bu Huai swirled Tian Phai's bloodline in front of him and declared, "At the cost of my own life, I will utilize the forbidden technique of bloodline infiltration."
Suddenly, the surroundings began distorting, and both Tian Phai and Tian Bu Huai found themselves in a vast, starry expanse.
"Follow me. This space holds the memories of our bloodline," Tian Bu Huai explained. "Each star represents the memories of those with the same bloodline, but today, our target lies elsewhere."
Swiftly, Tian Bu Huai led Tian Phai through the space, stars whizzing past them. He moved with such speed that Tian Phai couldn't help but feel an increasing urgency to reach his brother's memories—something he had awaited for hundreds of thousands of years.
After an indeterminate period, Tian Phai and Tian Bu Huai came to a stop before two colossal stars. The gaze Tian Bu Huai directed at one of them was filled with complex emotions as he murmured, "Finally, I will witness what occurred on that day."
Turning to Tian Phai, gratitude shone in his eyes as Tian Bu Huai expressed, "While you stand to benefit from my assistance, I am genuinely grateful to you. You have my deepest gratitude."
If anyone were to witness the once-terrifying and arrogant Tian Bu Huai speaking those words, they would question the authenticity of their sight. Nevertheless, it depicted the extent of Tian Phai's significance in that moment.
Together, they ventured toward the star representing Tian Bu Huai's brother.
Upon entering the star, the surroundings underwent a complete transformation. They found themselves in an aged, dilapidated house, where two young children resided. One child diligently scrubbed the floor, perspiring profusely and meticulously wiping away each drop of sweat.
In stark contrast, the other child sat in a corner, snugly wrapped in a blanket, peacefully slumbering. Although his features bore a striking resemblance to the first boy, he appeared younger.
After a while, a voice pierced through from outside, belonging to an elderly woman. "You two damned little devils, have you finished cleaning the warehouse?" Her strident tone grated on the ears of any listener.
The boy under the blanket stirred awake, grumbling, "Doesn't this old bitch ever let anyone sleep?"
"Brother, mind your words. You know how sensitive she is about her age, and we need this job. We can't survive without the money we earn here," the older brother admonished, his voice tinged with concern.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. forget her shitty age. with her old stinky ears I doubt she can even hear me if I said it to her face," the younger brother retorted mischievously, sticking out his tongue and folding his arms behind his back
