Elaia is a sickly woman, in her journey on figuring out the exact date of her death so that she can prepare her loved ones, she met Death himself. What if Death's first love is someone he doesn't want to die? Oh, the irony.
The room is filled with darkness, but it's not something that Elaia is afraid of.
She's used to it.
But as she scans the room, she noticed that there is an open door.
She walks toward the door and heard a music. It seems like a lonely melody coming from the piano. But who's playing the piano at such a dark room?
She walked until the music is getting louder and louder. She noticed that it's a man who is playing the sad melody.
"Hey" she called the stranger.
The man didn't even acknowledged her presence so she just sat in a chair near the piano. As the music seems to reach its peak, she felt like this man's world must be so cruel for him to create such devastating melody. Though the talent in playing the piano was there that it can move anyone into tears.
Finally, the man stopped.
"Why are you playing such a sad melody, mister?" she asked.
Even if she can't see his face clearly, she can see that he gave her a sad smile, and said "the person that I didn't want to lose in this lifetime was just taken from me, and all I can do is just look at her as she fade away."
She didn't understand why, but the words of this man seems to pierce her heart. Tears were flowing in her cheeks as the man answered the question in her mind, "who is this person you're talking about?"
"It is you, my love."
And the she woke up.
