'Hah, surely a Commoner or Knight could never afford something like this. Well, that's a good thing. If Azure Cross has this level of power and wealth then others have no less.' Evan pondered as he assessed the expensive decor.

Oren walked forward and occasionally people would pass by their group, some in formal wear and some in closed robes, so only their faces were visible.

They were all Mages, so their reaction to Evan, Klaus, and Hana was obvious - contempt and incomprehension.

In their opinion, only an important or influential mage could be here, but not a young man with a big sword and a dirty black coat.

Only Oren was holding them back from kicking Evan and Klaus away, but they were watching the situation closely.
