Chapter Thirty Nine-party night before graduation

Chapter Thirty Nine.

"You feeling better James?" Ralph asked while grabbing a seat before sitting down, alongside Violet and Sydney who were revealing relieved looks.

I guess they were really worried about me.

"Yeah I'm doing a lot better, Claire, Rose, and Clara are away getting some stuff for me because I'm staying over here through the night," I said while taking the drink of water that Sydney had handed me.

"Well that's good, anyways we won't stay for long, we just wanted to check up on you and all, hopefully, you won't be here until school ends, that would be a bummer," Violet said before placing a basket of fruits beside my bed and getting up.

"All right bye guys, take care." I said while waving at them, however, my arm hurt. So I probably shouldn't had done that.

"Bye James!" Ralph said while strolling out talking to Sydney and Violet.

After a while, the girls came back with a change of clothes, food, and other stuff and laid them down next to the fruit basket, to which in nobody's surprise, Claire was already eating.

While we chatted for a bit, it had gotten late so the girls decided to stay here for the night.

It was cramped. And although I had a king-sized bed, there was hardly any room to fit four adult sized people.

Someone's foot was on my face, another had their whole body on my legs and the last was practically lying on me…

I woke up early in the morning to my entire body hurting and I couldn't feel any of my arms.

Why was this? Was it due to the injuries I had sustained by fighting through the storms of the murderous beasts?

No, it was because I had three girls lying on each arm and my stomach, their plump and bouncy breasts squishing against my body.

However, they were all still asleep and looked really cute, they were completely defenseless, did they trust me that much?

"Mhm?" Rose was the first to wake up rubbing her eyes before looking at me with a charming good morning smile. Even in the morning, she looked beautiful.

After talking with Rose for a while, Claire and Clara woke up and my arms were finally free, however, it took a while for the blood to go back to them.

Today, and the rest of the time in school coincidently, the entire student council had the rest of the time off starting today, this was to set up for graduation day and it was a privilege. However, I was going to use this time mainly for healing up from my injuries.

Sadly though, I wasn't allowed much time to do that and I was dragged around the city by the girls.

I don't know if it was because the root had regenerating abilities or maybe the nurse was just so good at her job. However my injuries were already healed up quite a bit, I expected them to take at least another week to fully heal, however it looks like three to four days will suffice.

Throughout the day, we went to some small concerts, had some food and went clothes shopping.

We were also going to be having a party on the night before graduation, so we bought a couple of things to prep for that.

Overall, nothing really interesting happened today, however that could be said for the following couple of days. The girls especially, were stuck in the student council room rapidly getting more nervous due to the amount of paperwork and setting up they had to do for graduation day. Naturally, although I hadn't had any official work, I was somewhat still a part of the student council so I helped them.

And so came the day before graduation, I had practically fully healed up now, and the painstaking effort we had put in over the last week or so had paid off, all the work was finished and all that was left to do was attend tomorrow's graduation.

However, we decided to hold a party between us and our friends in the student council room.

Why? Well, it was because, after tomorrow's graduation, Rose would be heading back to the royal palace.

Although it was in the capital, and only a couple of miles away on the outskirts (a bit weird, however that's where it was built) we wouldn't be able to see her often or even see her at all for a while.

Everybody was depressed because of this, so we drank our sorrows away.

I also decided to invite Ralph, Violet, and Sydney while the girls invited some of their class friends.

It was quite a lively night, luckily we had bought enough alcohol and food. However, my wallet was empty because of it…

"Wow James, this is quite the event." Violet burped deeply multiple times while wobbling about. She was a light drinker, however, she had already been chugging down drinks since the party started. One could say that she was completely out of it at the moment.

After trying to talk to the drunk violet for a while, I decided to give up and point her to the most sober looking people before walking towards Ralph, who was talking to Sydney.

They were drinking, however surprisingly could hold their drink better than most people here.

"Ah, James I'm sorry about Violet, I told her not to drink much before coming, however I should have known that she couldn't restrain herself." Ralph said Apologetically before bowing.

"I hurriedly lifted him up. "Its fine, Its fine, I mean these types of things make the party more livelier, I hope you guys are enjoying it as well." I took a drink from the table next to me.

"Yes, its quite a nice party. A good thing to send S-class off, you have pulled off a good one." Ralph patted me on the shoulders. "Alright look over there." He pointed In the direction of Rose. She was standing in the corner alone sipping her drink.

"Go to her." He said grinningly. "You might get a shot tonight." He laughed while pushing me in the direction of Rose.

I turned back waving to him and Sydney before turning towards Rose who was glancing at me while sipping her red wine.

The night could take a turn…
