Preparation For Wars

I was astonished by how fast she could move and she reappeared in front of me, knocking me to the ground.

"...Huh?" I muttered dumbfoundedly.

At that exact moment, I felt something soft pressing against my cheek. Looking up, I saw Knight Commander Rielle holding me in her arms.

Her expression seemed somewhat angry and she glared at me coldly.

"For you not being able to see my movement, a lot still needs to be fixed. You've gotta be aware of your surroundings all the time. Do you understand? Or shall I show you what happens if you fail to do that?"

Without waiting for an answer, she lowered me gently to the ground.

Once I stood upright, she held out her hand. With a firm grip, she pulled me up.

I shook my head vigorously, denying what she was implying.

"No! No way... I'll never forget everything that you taught me!"

With that said, I grabbed her hands and thanked her profusely.
