Unravel of Ability
"Don't call me lord I'm not a Lord, I'm a General in this region. To be precise a warhead of the kingdom."
Ok Lord Luka if that's what you want then I'll do so.
" What did I just tell you?".
"I'm sorry General Luka", said Arnold nodding his head.
"Now that's better, Come with me let's check what kind of ability you possess".
"Yes","General Luka", said Arnold as he was looking at him with a puppy face.
"There's no benefit in looking at me like that, you will be calling me General Luka from now on and that's final".After walking the ample hallway they reached a dead end. There was a red door which had a lion face designed on it. Arnold was amazed seeing how big the door was. A man was standing with an alligator mask who asked,"who is it?".
" It's me Alish", said General Luka with a strong tone of voice.
The man named Alish then kneeled and told,"I'm sorry my Lord I thought it was someone else". Arnold was looking at General Luka with an expression of injustice since the man named Alish just called him Lord. General Luka saw Arnold's face and then told Alish didn't I tell you to call me General.
"Ok my Lord as you wish".
"Again with the lord, what did I just tell you?". General Luka then told Alish about the Butler and ordered him to imprison him till his punishment is decreed. Alish then started walking the hallway towards the stairs to apprehend the butler.
" Well then let's go inside, ooh,that reminds me what's your name?".
Arnold thought for a sec and decided it would be rude telling his saviour a made-up name so he told Luka his real name.
"So you're called Arnold, I see".
" Let's enter inside the room come on follow me".
As Arnold entered the room he noticed a giant turtle. He was racking his brains about why is there a turtle in this room. Among the mangas, he read there was always either a crystal or a scroll to determine one's ability and attribute.
"Come on, go and place your hand on the turtles tail".
Arnold went closer towards the turtle and held its tail and heard a peal of sudden laughter."Who is laughing","who's there?", asked Arnold with a confused face.
"Don't worry it's the turtle who's laughing".
"What?", How can a turtle laugh that's illogical then his inner mind slapped him on the face saying you idiot you're shanghaied in this world.
"Eltrut what's wrong why are you laughing?".
"What can I say, I've never seen such an ability before so I couldn't hold it in General Luka".
"Exactly what kind of ability does he has?".
"Well, it seems to be becoming an ant for 10 minutes".
"Are you sure Eltrut?, it's not like I'm questioning your proficiency but is that the only ability he has?".
" Yes, I've checked multiple times this is the only ability this mortal possess".
Hearing the conversation Arnold thought ants might be enormous and mighty monsters in this world but he was doubtful as Eltrut was laughing.General Luka touched the ground and picked up something in his hands, being curious Arnold looked at the hands of General Luka and saw it was just an ant.Sadly,the ants of this world are tiny just like his past world which was Earth.Seeing this Arnold's eyes were down, he felt like God has betrayed him. He was hoping for a cool ability like immortality, super strength and so on.
"I've never heard of such an ability before, well let's see what work we can give you considering your ability, said General Luka with an unsure facial expression".
Arnold didn't say anything, he just nodded silently."Well let's get you some gear and new clothes, come with me". Yes, General Luka.
Clank!, General Luka closed the door and chanted some kind of spell." I'm thinking about giving you a spot in my war squad kid"."Really!! I'll be gratified", General Luka.
Walking the hallway they met with Alish and General Luka told Alish to take Arnold with him to buy some gear and new clothes for him."Gears aside do I really need new clothes General Luka?", asked Arnold reluctantly."Yes you do, you look uncouth in these clothes".
" Just as you wish Lord Luka,come with me",saying this Alish started to amble on the street after getting outside of the fort.
Arnold then started to tail Alish and after walking for some time they reached the main door of the fort. Arnold hid his face so that people don't recognise him.
Alish brought Arnold to an humongous shop with different types of gear and clothes."Let me introduce you to the shop owner but before that tell me what your name is?".
You can call me Arnold Mr. Alish."Ok, I'll call you AL".
"This is the owner of this shop, you can call him Trend".Ok, I guess it's nice to meet you Mr. Trend."Likewise Mr. Arnold, so what kind of gear and clothes are you looking for?". Well I want something light and for the gear, I think I'll take my time picking it." Well then, if you want something light this is the right cloth for you, go and try it on in the trial room".
Yup, it's exactly the type of cloth I want, I'll try it out. Clank! (door closes)
After some time Arnold came out of the waiting room with the cloth on." So, do you like it?".Yes, I do it's perfect, I think I'll take these clothes Mr. Alish."Okay keep them on the desk and choose some gears for combat, by the way, what's your ability?".Well, it's turning into an ant for 10 minutes."Are you joking with me?, what kind of ability is that?, I've never heard of an ability to become an animal".
Hearing what Alish said Arnold's eyes rolled down and after a while he held his head high and said, "it's my real ability according to the turtle Eltrut".
"Looks like your serious about it, I believe you, now go and choose some decent gears for your ability".Arnold went inside the gears display room to find out gears adequate for his ability. He was searching to and fro but none of the gears were useful for his ability still, he didn't give up hope. Arnold started searching every nook and cranny hoping something good might be spotted by him sooner or later.
After some time Arnold became frustrated and sat on the floor. With a deep sigh, he thought is there nothing over here suitable for my ability. Arnold looked up at the ceiling and saw a cape was hanging on the wall of the ceiling. Arnold then told Mr. Trend to get the cape down from the ceiling to check the cape. The cape was all dusty so Mr. Trend first cleaned it up, and later handed out the cape to Arnold to check.
As Arnold touched the cape he felt an attachment. Arnold's little brother became rock hard as he smelled the scent on the cape.Mr. Trend saw that and looked away trying to hold his laughter. Seeing his little brother's excitement Arnold asked what is the scent on it Mr. Trend?." Arnold then tied the cape around his neck and noticed it changed it's colour.At first, he was unsure about the cape changing colour but Mr. Trend explained the inferred behind it.The reason was quite simple.The cape was made of a Rainbow Caleon Monster's skin which is supposed to change colour according to the life force of the thing it touched.The colour of Arnold's cape was half Black and half White.
"It's really rare to see the cape show two colours at the same time, I think your life force is half light and half Darkness"."Is that a bad thing?", asked Arnold with a worried face biting his nails with his teeth's. (Arnold thought he might choke and die doing something like losing virginity since his good side life force will do something to stop that from happening but he was tensed so, he said it out loud)
(Mr. Trend heard it)" No, nothing like that is going to happen to you, besides sex is not a bad thing It's the beginning of a new life with the melodious musical background noise".
Phew! That's a relief hearing it, Mr. Trend, Thank you for filling me in with the details. Arnold took off the cape surrounding his neck and told Mr. Trend to pack it up.
"With pleasure, thanks for shopping from us feel free to come again". Will do Mr. Trend said Arnold showing thumbs up." Is that all you need?, I think you should buy some more gears".No, it's fine I got what I needed besides my ability isn't quite suitable for other gears.
"So you're okay with the few kinds of stuff you bought?".
"Yes","I am Mr. Amish", said Arnold with a happy face." Then let's go meet Lord Lujack and he's going to decide the work you're going to do for the rest of your life."What do you mean by for the rest of my life?", asked Arnold with a suspicious face."Well the thing is from the moment you decide to work under Lord Lujack you are to work for him until you die".Nobody told me about it, how am I supposed to get laid and have sweet little kids calling me dada!!!.
"It depends on Lord Lujack since he's going to decide how long you're going to work for him".
