Blood Oath

It was at that moment that Levi realised that Scarlet was his light. He'd heard people before having such things in their lives and never really paid attention to them, but she just managed to bring him back from losing it.

With just a single touch, she dragged him back from the abyss that was ready to devour him whole. He wasn't sure how to feel about it yet but he did get on his knees and picked her up.

"Put me back down!" She complained, not wanting to be seen as a child. She tried to wiggle herself out of his arms but it was an epic fail.

"Soon you'll be too big for me to do this, so let me baby you while I still can." He flashed a genuine smile and turned his back from the girl who was trying to kill him and focused on the one he'd grown to love as his own sister and even daughter.
