Chapter 149

After Miyuki finished and defeated her opponent in the finals of Women's Ice Pillar Break, she went to find her Onii-sama and his friends to join them watch the Men's finals of Ice Pillar Break but not before changing her kimono costume to regular First High uniform.

Arriving at the venue again, Miyuki looked around the vicinity trying to find her beloved Onii-sama and she quickly found thanks to Chiba Erika waving at her like a kid. She quickly moved towards them while navigating the crowd of people which already pouring in as they were all excited to watch the finals.

Miyuki arrived at where Tatsuya and his group of friends were sitting together.

"Congratulations on winning the Ice Pillar Break" Erika said to Miyuki after the latter sat down to empty sit between Tatsuya and her. She's not the only one who congratulates Miyuki, the other friends of Tatsuya also did what she did after she did it first.

 Miyuki smiled and nodded at them as she accepted the congratulatory words from them. She then turned to her Onii-sama and asked if the Shizuku and Honoka would be coming which Tatsuya just shook his head to answer.

"Shizuku is still bitter about losing against Miyuki," Erika said teasingly with a smirk.

That's right Shizuku was the other finalist in the women's IPB finals. With the help of Tatsuya's masterful tweaking of the CAD of Shizuku, she was able to go against Miyuki in almost even ground. She also uses a new type of magic called Phonon Maser. Which is an Oscillation Type magic that raises the number of supersonic oscillations, to form a quantum heat ray. Another way of explaining phonon master is it's a spell that increases the oscillation frequency of ultrasonic waves and then quantizes them into heat rays.

If only Shizuku could spam Phonon Maser then she should have a chance to beat Miyuki, keyword Chance but sadly she wasn't able to or unable to because Miyuki finished the battle with a spell called Niflheim. Which is a Rank A Wide-Area Freezing Magic that decelerates molecular vibrations, uniformly cooling all objects in a set area. It creates cold air masses containing liquid nitrogen, diamond dust, and dry ice particles. The spell freezes not only water vapor and carbon dioxide but also nitrogen. While the magic sequence is simple, it requires immense interference strength for control. Originally designed to freeze objects uniformly, it can also generate cold matter for offensive purposes.

"Badmouthing her like that is uncalled for because she did her best to play against Miyuki," Mizuki said with a frown.

"I'm just making a casual joke," Erika said with a shrug though she did feel bad about it that she planned to apologize later because if she did not, Miyuki who was staring at her would force her to do it.

"Even if it's a joke don't say that behind her back" Mizuki reprimanded Erika who made a disgruntled face as she heard more of Mizuki scolding.

Leo and Mikihiko chuckle at Erika's misfortune but they stop their frozen and return to neutral faces when Erika glares at them with deathly eyes that burn anyone if she can.

Miyuki and Tatsuya just smiled at this and did not say anything more so as not to add more wood to the fire.

"Look who showed up after getting fuck silly," Akeno said to the new arrival in their group.

"Good Afternoon to you too Akeno" Rias greeted with a blooming smile.

"You could have participated in the Ice Pillar Break and won it if you just let Oreki heal you after getting destroyed in the bed," Valerie said with a smile though They already knew the reason why she refused as Oreki told them. However, they wanted to hear the reason for refusing to be healed from Rias herself.

"I don't want my battle scars to be healed" Rias explained in simple terms while she wagged her finger at them. After waking that day her back and hips were aching too much that she did not want to move out of the bed. The only she did after being out of commission for a couple of days was to eat, sleep, and take a shower before going to sleep again. 

"Battle? More like you got massacred in bed in cold blood or hot blood if you know what I mean" Akeno teased with a smirk.

The group laughs lightly at the remark including Rias herself. She then turns to Mayumi "So Oreki got you in the harem huh? Well be ready to get dropped in bed like a ragdoll" She said with a smirk.

"Please take care of me from now on," Mayumi said while blushing at the thought of getting in the bed with Oreki as they performed the deed. Ever since she started talking to Akeno about her experience with Oreki, Mayumi had been researching stuff about how to please Oreki in the future.

The group started talking idly as they waited for the Finals to start.

The Roar of the audience resounded when the platforms of both finalists started going up because that meant that the finals were going to start soon.

As the platform reached its highest point, both of the players smiled and waved to the audience making the girls who had a crush on them faint in happiness. Both of them have been wearing their usual outfit since the start of the event which is a Third High Uniform for Masaki and Ace cosplay for Oreki. The latter wanted to wear different cosplay outfits like Stawhats boys or the Admiral outfit at first but changed his mind because the people of this world wouldn't be able to appreciate them as this world lacked the knowledge of One Piece or Anime in general.

The audience cheering turned quiet as they waited for the exciting match-up between the Ichijou and Yotsuba. However, they don't know that just like the other Second High performance this one is also going to be a sided match up.

"3...2...1...Go"

Oreki did not give the creep a chance, he erased the memory of the magic that Masaki wanted to use but not completely, just enough to make him think about it but unable to remember it.

Masaki stared dumbly at his CAD while thinking about the thing his is about to do but couldn't do because something was missing. The audience waited in silence to see what Masaki did but nothing happened. This took a while before Masaki lashed out to Oreki "Yotusba!!!!!! What did you do to me!?" He shouted in anger making the audience confused.

Instead of answering, Oreki's eyes looked to his right side while his lips pressed together.

"Onii-sama, what did Oreki do to Ichijou-san?" Miyuki asked not in concern for Maski but out of curiosity.

"It's seems Ichijou is unable to cast Rupture" Tatsuya answered but as he further observed the situation below he came to another conclusion "No that not it, Oreki did a far more bizarre thing." He added.

The residence Oreki hater, Erika was able to decipher what Tatsuya meant by bizarre "He erased Masaki's memory of rupture magic! Isn't that against the rules to target the player directly with magic!" she shouted.

"I don't think anyone can prove that he erased that part of memory because he can just say he uses an anti-magic spell to prevent Masaki from using Rupture magic" Tatsuya explained.

"Could he bypass the memory erasure if someone..." Leo said but was interrupted by a loud shout down below the arena near the player tunnel behind Masaki"

"Use Rupture Magic!" Cardinal George shouted but Masaki just looked at him dumbly while tilting his head.

"Never mind that didn't work as well," Leo said.

The group took pity on Masaki except for Tatsuya and Miyuki especially the latter after Oreki gave her some hints about Masaki's personality. She wishes that Oreki erase the memory of Rupture magic in Masaki's mind completely or even better she could request Oreki to erase Masaki's memory of herself.

Masaki shouted different kinds of insults to Oreki like a wild dog full of rabies but his voice fell on deaf ears.

Oreki then looked up somewhere before looking at Rias' Group and nodding at them. The group then started scattering around the venue, not just this venue but other parts of the 9SC venue. Tatsuya notices this and uses his elemental sight to see what is happening thoroughly. He then instructed his friends too to do the same as Rias' group.

"Okay, times up," Oreki said as he snapped his fingers. One big portal appeared above the 12 ice pillar of Masaki before it lowered down and getting swallowed by the said portal.

The audience and the referee watching did not know how to react to that. Even Tatsuya's eyes widen seeing the black portal with unknown properties that his elemental sight was not about to recognize.

Oreki shouted to the dazed referee that he already won.

The referee then complied. With a honk from the horn, Oreki was declared the winner of the Men's Ice Pillar, and at the same time explosion can heard from afar.

"It's about damn time!" Oreki said with a smirk.
