Reincarnated With An Unidentified God

"Your novel created a world, your soul must rule over it." Seth never knew that he was unknowingly plotting his next life after death in a fantasy novel, until he died from Covid 19 and reincarnated into another world, seated at Nature-2 — a Universe beyond the actual Universe in his previous life. After reincarnation, Seth found out that his own God — which was a normal thing to attain in Litchnigan — was unidentified. This meant hell for Seth, having to suffer the unawareness and weaknesses of not being able to perform the The Personified Diety Ritual. However, all these occurrence was based on the plot of his novel. Seth never knew he was creating a world while still on Earth. Knowing what might happen in the future, based on his plot, Seth had to prepare for a huge fight against his foes. With the help of his cohort , the Outer Circle, Seth was able to find a way to get rid some minor yet brutal forces, and reshaped the plot of his sad-ending novel to a better one, using his strong ability. At least, the chances of triumph over his foes became fifty-fifty. Nonetheless, Seth still had to complete his book by himself since his main character couldn't. But the overwhelming forces kept up the sovereignty, making his ambition quite impossible. To end this, Seth's God have to be Identified. Join me as we go on this journey to resolute the Legacy of Gods. ********* Note: the system will appear useful after the MC has awakened his ability. Unidentified God

Seth stood like an ancient statue on that spot, his eyes aiming at his mother as though she had just penalized him like a judge. His God? The heck! Wasn't that what he ran out of the house to prevent? Truth be told, Seth was on the mountaintop of pure bewilderment.

Seeing the unbalanced look on his mother's face, Seth already knew that he wouldn't be able to get away this time. His father, too, was also putting on a serious expression as though interviewing the prime suspect of a robbery attack.

With this happening, Seth had no choice but to tell them about his God. What's truly the big deal? Actually, to him, keeping his shame was never going to do him any good. However, though, Seth was still willing to add some untruths to it.

He quickly checked his stats, hoping to see changes. Maybe something might have changed since he had killed a monster. Seth hoped for something like that to happen as he began studying the stats.

Seth quickly withdrew his view from his system, anger and disappointment rolling down his veins. Nothing changed! It was true! It was true that Newborns couldn't improve their stats until they could awaken their abilities.

Seth's parents were still before him, waiting for an answer to their question. Meanwhile, Seth was not showing any action in answering. Gaze to the floor, hands crossed behind his spine, Seth's act made them furious.

But before his mother could utter a word, Seth spoke calmly. Sure, he never wanted to get punched in the face.

"Nobie... My God is Nobie."

"Nobie?! How can a God be named Nobie?" Seth's mother asked, confused.

"Yeah it's Nobie, The God of Air," Seth defended. Frankly, Seth lied about his God's Power.

In Nature-2, Personified Gods' powers are considered Legacies since they are inherited by the soul they dwell in. However, these powers already show the Affinity of that soul. Since Seth claimed that his God was The God of Air, then he should have an affinity to air. Which means he would become an Air Mage for a start!

But, this wasn't true. Seth didn't know anything about his God or his powers. Much less, discover his affinity. Someone without his/her God's identity would always live a life of unawareness. Most notably, they wouldn't be able to perform the Personified Diety Ritual — a ritual performed once a year for the temporal usage of a God's power.

"Look son, the word Nobie is a Litchniganic language. Nobie means Unidentified," Master Karl notified Seth, putting on a slight grin as he walked close.

'What! What is he saying?' Seth questioned in his thoughts.

"The word 'No' means Un. Then 'Bie' means identified. Joining them together, we got Nobie. That's it," Master Karl sighed, "if your God is tagged as Nobie, then it means your God's Identity was inactivated."

"Y—yeah! It is," Seth quickly alarmed, noticing that his father had discovered everything he was trying to hide.

"That's bad son, it means you can't perform the Personified Diety Ritual. That's brutal you know?" Master Karl said.

Seth only nodded, his face frowning as though he was punched by the huge fist of a monster. Sure, he didn't know what the Personified Diety Ritual was, but he really knew that it was something very beneficial. Nevertheless, Seth, somehow, was about to go through hell, as his angel had predicted.

Was this why the Personified God System told him that his angel's mission was completed halfway? Judging by the way things were progressing, Seth didn't need any explanation to convince him that that was it.

His angel was a fool!

'She is going to make me go through this!' Seth exclaimed inside of him.

"Don't panic son. Don't worry, not everyone has the fate of becoming a strong magician. You can always survive by being just a Mage," Master Karl said.

"Yeah, I think so too. I don't think Xavier isn't going to rank up anymore, you can always be in the Mage Academy with him," his mother, Mistress Emily said, putting on a comforting expression.

"Why are you guys saying this," Seth who had been staring at them asked. Truly, he didn't know what God's 'unidentified' issue had to do with ranking and leveling up. At this moment, Seth was totally dumbfounded.

"Let's save that, we will have a long talk tomorrow before you leave for the Dormant Academy," Master Karl said, squeezing Seth's left shoulder.

"Dad, I really wanna know about tha—"

Meow!

A wailing sound rang out from Seth's room, making Seth stunned. It was Silo! Silo was left with hunger since Seth left the house. That was in the morning, and now, it was already getting late.

"What... The... Heck."

Seth quickly dashed into the alley, aiming towards his room at a very fast pace. The cries of Silo continue to storm his room, causing Seth's heart to bit hard.

'Is it going to die?'

Reaching his room, Seth pushed the door, dashing in as though he was being chased by Red Hydra. At first sight, he saw his kitty lying on the floor.

Meow!!!

"Hey, bro! I'm sorry. I just gotta run from Mother for a while. I'm sorry for starving you okay?"

Meow!!!!!!

"Crap!"

Seth quickly went towards the cupboard by the side. The cupboard was of brown Type-3 furniture, which was made by Xavier as a project in the Dormant Academy years ago.

At the top of the cupboard, a can — capable of storing 5 liters of fresh milk could be seen. Seth hopped quickly and gripped the can, turning in the direction of his cat right after.

[REDY INSTANT EVAPORATED MILK].

Seth grabbed the bowl of the cat beside his standing spot and started releasing some milk from the can after opening it. Glancing at the cat, Seth could tell that it was eager to drink down the whole milk. Probably, the one in the bowl might not be enough.

As Seth dropped down the bowl, Silo wasted no time in piercing his tongue inside the river of milk.

It was drinking a lot.

After taking a sigh of relief, Seth returned the can to the top of the cupboard and went back to sit on his bed. He was exhausted. Really exhausted!

He lay on the soft bed, resting his head on his hands. Today truly ended the way it was plotted. Seth got slapped in the face, he got harassed by The Eye, and he also killed a Critter.

'Not bad, the last one made it interesting,' Seth thought, smiling.

Seth balanced himself to sleep, actually, he didn't want to have dinner since he but some bun while returning from the Black Scorpion Clan. A bun cost only 1SC (S-coin), so it wouldn't affect his finances for the time being.

But before coating himself with the blanket, something came to his mind:

'The History Book.'

"How about reading The History Book? It's not that late yet," Seth said, crossing his finger by his lips. "I think that would be a great idea."

Shortly, Seth stood up from the bed and went towards his shelf. The History Book could be owned by anyone in Litchnigan, so Seth was going to be left behind. His father just got him one after returning from the capital city.

Seth brought out the book from his shelf and placed it on his small table close to Silo. It was really big, and the sound of its bang on the table made Silo comment:

Meow!

"Sorry, it's just an old book," Seth said with a slight smile.

Meow!

Seth opened the book, staring right at the first page.

[The Legendary Book of Litchnigan], [The History Book].

'Interesting.'

Seth flipped up the page and positioned his gaze at the "preface". As though like a joke, white lights flashed to his face.

[Fated Afterlife System awakened].

[Side System 1].

[Finally, the Author has been found +1 mana points].

[History Book open +1 mana points].

[Message: this host must obey and respect the system for the system is the only weapon of salvation].

[Missions Of FAS: these missions are tasks the host takes in order to succeed in achieving his goals].

[Mission 1: Read The History Book, Awaken your Ability. Duration: 42 days].

"W—what the heck is this?!!" Seth yelled loudly, causing fear in Silo's mind. He quickly glanced at the book, seeing that the lights on it had vanished.

"What happened just now?" Seth asked himself, stunned.

Then after looking around, he calmed down and tried to study the content of this page. Since it awakened a system, then something unique might have been written on it.

Placing his gaze on the book, Seth read carefully without leaving a paragraph. Calm and cool, his eyes were alert to get a sight of a powerful word. Maybe it could be a Litchnigan language, or perhaps, a ritual vocabulary.

But after reading for some time, Seth set his eyes on a sentence. A very devastating yet confusing sentence. Seth sighed roughly and read calmly:

"Your novel created a world, your soul must rule over it."
