First night and First Class

Adam hears a knock on his door when there is fifteen minutes till dinner time starts. He takes his headphones off and walks to the door and opens the door to see team JNPR and RWBY.

Adam- "Hey guys, what's up? Heading to dinner?"

Ruby- "Nope, we are here to learn about your powers and THEN head to cookies….I mean dinner!"

Adam- "Ah, alright then. Come on in. I'll make it quick since we skipped lunch"

Everyone files in and sits on a bed or at a chair from a desk.

Adam stands in front of everyone and holds out his hand.

Adam- "I'm sure everyone saw me materialize my armor and my weapon on the cliff. Since three years ago I have been able to materialize my clothes and a weapon as long as it is a close range weapon like a sword or a pistol. They can be changed based on my imagination and aura. If my aura breaks my clothes and my weapon will go away as well. I also learned recently that I can heal people as well. I will drop the bomb that I woke up three years ago knowing only basic information and that my name was Adam. I woke up in a forest and had no idea where I was. I was all alone at the beginning but made friends with the animals in the forest. I trained everyday and was lucky not to have to fight Grimm right away but I did have to fight after a while but I was luckily training in the mean time. I even have a semblance that acts like a final trump card as well that I have trained to not take all my aura, but some still does. I'm forgetting some things but I'll answer your questions…..right...about...now"

Adam sees that everyone is just sitting there with their mouths open and eyes wide. Ruby is the first to run up and hug him, followed by Nora, then Yang. He lets them tackle him to the ground and enjoys the moment. Everyone seems sad but the mood slowly picks up as Adam convinced them that he is fine now because he has made amazing friends since he came to Vale and that they are in this room. Everyone asks him questions until dinner is almost over and they have to run to the cafeteria.

He was able to tell them everything he has been up to since he has arrived on remnant. He also told them that he just wanted to tell them to get it off his chest and that he didn't expect to hear their life stories yet. Only when they feel like it. This made Nora, Ren, Weiss, Blake and Pyrrha feel better to not feel pressured into anything.

When they got into the cafeteria Ruby disappeared and rose petals were left where she was just standing. She appeared on the other side of the cafeteria and then disappears again to go back to the spot she was originally in. But this time with a mound of cookies on a plate. Adam took the plate and held it high up in the air and looked to Yang who understood what he was trying to do.

Yang- "Sis, you can't just have cookies and milk for dinner"

Ruby- "Why not? I would drink milk with them to help me grow!"

She is jumping up and trying to grab the plate but Adam is holding it too high for her to reach.

Adam- "I don't think that's how that works"

Weiss and Ren nod sagely. Blake is just trying to stick in the back of the conversation. Jaune just looks lost looking around the cafeteria and Pyrrha is smiling while watching Jaune.

Adam- "At least get something small. After you finish it I'll hand the cookies back over to you"

Ruby ran over to the food and got a small plate of whatever was there and went to a table waving everybody over. Now Adam is stuck holding the cookies as he walks through the cafeteria. Luckily only a few people are still in the cafeteria.

Everybody had some food. The only noteable thing was that Blake only got fish and milk. Adam notices the milk and thinks it would be interesting to tease her.

Adam- "Do you also want to grow up Blake? I don't think you need to grow any more"

Adam just sees Blake glare at him while nibbling on a piece of fish. Then he looks over to Weiss.

Adam- "I expected Weiss to be the one to drink milk honestly, considering she's already behind Ruby. I bet Yang drank lots of milk growing up"

Everyone looks to Weiss and then over to Ruby then to Yang. Ruby looks down and then over to Yang then to Weiss. She puts her hand on Weiss's shoulder and closes her eyes.

Ruby- "It's okay Weiss. I've drank a lot of milk to get this far and so has my sister. I'll give you some tips"

Yang and Nora lose it. They can't stop laughing. Nora has to lean on Ren in order to stay up while Jaune and Ren look over to Adam and salute.

Adam- "What's wrong with you two. I'm not dead"

Weiss- "Yet. You aren't dead YET! Adam Chrysos!"

Weiss is shaking in anger and has her eyes closed.

Adam- "Hehe…..Is the room getting colder or is it just me?"

Jaune- "It's just you. I would start running right about now before you actually become an ice sculpture"

Jaune points towards Adams hands and a trail leading across the table to Weiss.

Adam- "Ruby, I'll leave the cookies to you. And be a good girl and get Weiss some mil-"

Adam has to dodge a small icicle as he jumps out of his chair.

Adam- "Got to go! See you guys later!"

Adam books it out of the cafteria as he hears Weiss.

Weiss- "I know where you live Adam Chrysos!!"

Adam then returns to his room and finishes off an apple before his clothes disappear to reveal his body and a fig leaf. Adam jumps onto his bed and gets under the covers and just passes out on the very comfy bed and pillow, it felt like he was in heaven.

Adam woke up the next morning hearing a very loud whistle from team RWBYs room and felt sorry for whoever's ears are now ringing. He then hears Weiss a few minutes scream something about class. He jumps out of his bed and opens his door to see Weiss run past him. She is followed by the rest of team RWBY. He looks out his door and to the left to see team JNPR dressed in their school uniforms. They are sticking their heads out of the door and looking down the hall. Their heads are stacked going up. It starts with Jaune at the bottom followed by Nora, Pyrrha and ends with Ren at the top.

Jaune- "Class…?"

Then Jaune loses his balance and falls with the rest of his team falling after him. They now see Adam standing in his doorway in the buff with only a fig leaf. Nora and Pyrrha blush upon seeing him not even trying to cover himself. Ren just closes his eyes and shakes his head.

Adam- "Is that our school uniform?"

Jaune- " Yes it is! Why don't you go find yours and put it on!"

Adam then materializes the same school uniform as Jaune and Ren but he puts a ! On the back of his school uniform.

A second later Jaune gets out from the bottom of his team and starts dashing down the hall.

Jaune- "We're gonna be late!"

He is followed by Adam and the rest of his team as they rush behind team RWBY to get to class.

As the nine students run through the courtyard Ozpin and Glynda watch them from the other side of the courtyard. Glynda looks at her watch and sighs as Ozpin sips his coffee.

Ozpin- "At least he can make his own clothes"

Glynda- "We probably should have thought about that"

Ozpin- "Maybe if I wasn't filling out docum-"

Glynda- "You would what? Hmmm? You would have gotten him a uniform? We both forgot about it when we were filling out the necessary adoption papers late into the night. It's not easy adopting someone who didn't exist a week ago"

Ozpin responds by taking another sip from his mug. Glynda sighs as she watches the students turn a corner.

They barely make it to class as they make it through the door of the class as the bell rings.

At the front of the class is Professor Port, the older heftier man. He is holding a blunderbuss battle axe. On the board is a bunch of various Grimm. There are various species of Grimm - King Taijitu, Death Stalker, Beowolf, Boarbatusk, Nevermore, and Ursa.

As soon as the new arrivals take their seats Port begins his class.

Team RWBY! sits at the front of the class right in front of the professor while team JNPR sits at the back.

Team RWBY! is in varying stages of interest; Blake and Yang are sitting up and paying attention, Weiss is taking notes, and Ruby has her head laying on Adams right arm while Adam uses his left to prop his head off the desk as he joins Ruby in the land of dreams.

Port- "Monsters! Deeeemons... Prowlers of the night! Yes, the creatures of Grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey! Ha-ha!"

Ruby and Adam are woken up by Port's bad joke, which receives a cricket-filled silence as a result.

Port- "Uhhhh... And you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy! Now, as I was saying: Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world! Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces! And that's where we come in. Huntsmen! Huntresses..."

Port winks at Yang who groans uncomfortably. Adam just shudders at what his professor just did.

Port- "Individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves! From what, you ask? Why, the very world!"

Some student in the middle of the class cheers and raises his fist in the air, but everyone just stares at the poor guy for a few seconds before he embarrassedly sits back down.

Port: "That is what you are training to become. But first: A story. A tale of a young, handsome man... Me! When I was a boy..."

Adam and Ruby at this point tune him out in an effort to not die of boredom. They both start drawing on the same piece of paper.

Weiss notices Ruby and Adam penciling a paper together.

Port- "...Despite smelling of cabbages, my grandfather was a wise man. 'Peter', he told me..."

The professors words turn into blah blah blahs. Ruby chuckles at her and Adams creation and shows it to her teammates: a ball-with-limbs-and-a-head drawing of the teacher with stink lines coming from him and "Professor Poop" written underneath. Ruby blows a quick raspberry. Blake and Yang laugh, but Weiss looks annoyed.

The professor clears his throat to get their attention again.

Port: "Ah-heh-hem! In the end, the Beowolf was no match for my sheer tenacity, and I returned to my village with the beast in captivity and my head held high, celebrated as a hero!"

The teacher takes a bow as Weiss slowly gets more and more frustrated with Ruby's and Adam's antics. Adam has materialized a small knife and is spinning it in his fingers.

Port- "The moral of this story? A true Huntsman must be honorable!"

Ruby is balancing an apple on a book with her pencil held only by her finger while making a silly face. Adam adds more apples on top that he summons. And he also takes a picture of Ruby with Weiss glaring at the both of them. Then he whispers to the two.

Adam- "If you two keep making those faces then your face will stay like that, it would be such a shame to lose your pretty faces. But don't worry, I'll still be here for you"

Port: "A true Huntsman must be dependable!"

Ruby has fallen asleep again in the first class of the year. Adam almost stabs his hand but drops the knife and it falls into the desk standing up.

Port: "A true Huntsman must be strategic, well-educated, and wise!"

Ruby is not-so-subtly picking her nose, much to Weiss' building anger. Adam slaps Ruby's hand and materializes a handkerchief for her. After she uses it she tries to hand it back but he just makes it disappear.

Port: "So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?"

Weiss raises her hand, but Adam raised it even faster than she did.

Weiss- "I do, sir!"

Adam- "Me"

Port: "Well, then, Adam, let's find out!"

Weiss is frustrated that Adam was chosen instead of her. He turns to gesture at the glowing red eyes surrounded by shadow shaking the cage that traps it.

Port- "Step forward, and face your opponent!"

Adam stands up and walks to the front of the class with his dagger.

Port- "Do you not want to wear your combat uniform and grab your weapon?"

Adam- "Nah, I'm good with this little guy"

Adam throws the dagger into the air and it lands on his index finger as he tries to keep it balanced.

Port- "Remember Adam that there is a fine line between Confidence and Arrogance"

Adam then tosses the dagge back into the air and catches grabs it in his hand and gets into a fitting stance facing the cage.

Adam- "Thank you for the reminder professor, now if you can let the Grimm out that would be great. I haven't sat still in a long time and I was getting restless"

Port- "I will be here if you are unable to defeat the monster, so don't be afraid to back off and ask for assistance"

Adam- "Thank you professor"

Yang raises her fist in the air while Blake is waving a small flag saying "RWBY!".

Yang Xiao Long- "Goooo, Adam!"

Blake- "Fight well!"

Ruby- "Yeah, represent Teeeeam 'RWBY!'!"

Weiss- "Don't get hurt"

Adam can tell that Weiss is a bit mad but still wants to support him.

Adam gives them a thumbs up but doesn't take his eyes off the Grimm caged in front of him.

Professor Port has his blunderbuss-axe ready and stands next to the cage getting ready to open it.

Port- "Alriiiight! Let the match...begin!"

Professor Port then swung his weapon at the lock on the cage and easily destroyed it. The cage door drops and reveals a Boarbatusk inside. Once it was revealed the Boarbatusk immediately charges out of the cage. It sees Adam first and speeds up as it runs on all fours.

As it approaches Adam jumps above the Grimm and as it passes under him he just sticks his dagger out and digs a line in the armor atop the Borbatusk. This caused the borbatusk to lose its balance and slide on the floor. And once it regained its footing it turned back around towards Adam. It started jumped in the air and started to spin like a wheel. Once it hit the ground it sped towards Adam.

Adam held the dagger in his right hand as he braved himself.

When the Boarbatusk was a few feet in front of him he held out the dagger and then lunged forward. The knife sank right into the skull and completely stopped the momentum it had built up and even pushed it back a foot.

There was silence. Few people his age could have done what he just did. Not only destroy its bone armor but also be able to push it back mid charge without losing aura nonetheless.

Adam took his dagger out from the skull and looked at the class and the professor. Most were questioning how he is a first year. Teams RWBY and JNPR knew he would be able to do it so they weren't surprised. Adam cleared his throat to get the professor to continue his lesson.

Port: "B…..Bra…..Bravo! Bra-vo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true Huntsman-in-training! Now if you could take your seat so I can get to my next subject"

Adam made his way back to his seat. And team RWBY sent him whispers of praise.

Blake- "Well done"

Yang- "That was Adam-azing!"

Weiss- "At least you finished it up quick"

Weiss was a little salty she didn't get her chance to shine so Adam didn't hold it against her. Ruby wasn't so quiet as Adam took his seat next to her.

Ruby- "That was so cool! You looked my Uncle when he hunts Grimm! But I don't think I've ever seen anyone USA a kni-!"

She was cut off as the professor continued his lesson while switching subjects trying to get the students to quiet down.

Port- "Now! I will discuss various Weapon and Dust studies"

Weiss and Ruby seemed to cheer up hearing this. Weiss was in a better mood, but Ruby was over the moon excited about this. So much so that she turned into her chibi version with sparkling eyes. She watched as the blackboard that had Grimm pictures on it flipped to its back and had various of diagrams of weapons and dust, both powdered and crystallized.

Adam had to grab Ruby by her cape that she had on over her uniform to stop her from floating to the board.

Adam didn't pay attention to the class and was on Ruby duty. Lets say she had a blast. Weiss was even surprised to see Ruby taking notes and paying attention. Adam was kinda bored out of his mind since he didn't need any of this info. Since he materializes his weapons with his aura, each bullet is him wasting his aura. Only in certain cases will he use ranged fighting.

And like this class came to an end and the students were released for the day.
