Chapter 47: Home, sweet home

The next day…

Eren woke up from his bed and stretched.

'I think I dreamt about something. But, I can't remember a part of it. Hmmm… it's troublesome to know that even though I was a God, dreams are haunting me.' Eren pondered after stretching.

(AN: By stretching, I mean the literal one, not the other 'thing'.)

Eren then went out of his room only to see his friends waiting for him.

"Yo! Good morning" Eren greeted them.

"Good morning!"

"Yo! Man, I hope it will be a good day!"

"Good morning"

"*Yawn* good... morning"

Everyone greeted Eren. It seemed that Rey still hasn't woken up from his sleep.

"So, what's your guys' plan?" Eren asked.

"I plan to log out of this game and visit my family," Madi replied.

"I too plan to visit my family." Rey and Klaus chimed in.

"I will visit my protectors as they might be worried about me," Crixus said.

Eren nodded and said,

"I will also visit my mom and ask about my background."

They all chit-chatted for a while and then pressed the log-out button in their system at the same time.

(AN: Too much of a coincidence. Hah!)

All their vision turned back for a second and the next thing they saw was them lying in Madi's room.

Eren checked the time and thought.

'Oh! The time is different there. Four days in there is about one day here. So one day in-game equals six hours. Hmmm, nice. I think Chronos is included in the making of this game.'

Eren and his friends went out of the room only to see Lyrica.

"Hi, good afternoon?" Eren greeted me in a questioning way as if he didn't know what to greet.

"Hi, Eren. Did you'll enter the game?"

"Yeah! We did." All of them said in unison.

"Nice! I am here to tell you something important." Lyrica said in a serious tone.

All the jolly mood of eren and his friends were put off as they heard the seriousness of Lyri's voice.

(AN: Lyri aka Lyrica)

Seeing this, Lyri smiled and said.

"Don't need to be so serious. It's just something about your academic year and the 'game' " Lyri stressed the word game as she said.

She continued.

"Principal has decided to close the academy as all of you would be immersed in the game. But, you can come here anytime and ask if you have any doubts about magic or other things as we, the teachers, will always be here for you.

Secondly, the game is not easy as it seems for you now. It has a deep thing inside it. As for what it is, I don't know. The principal said that."

Eren narrowed his eyes as he thought of a possible explanation for the background. He thought the Gods might be responsible.

Lyri asked.

"So, are you all going back home?"

"Yeah" All replied to her.

Lyri nodded as she went to the principal office.

Eren looked to his friends and gave every one of them a handshake and said.

"We will surely meet in the game and will be friends forever."

"WE WILL" Others shouted to agree.

Eren smiled as he went away from them.

He exited the academy and started he was back to his home.
