"Akame-Onesan... What happened next? Did Saber get her wish granted?" Nawaki coughed up blood.
"..." Akame gazes at the blinded and cut-in-half Nawaki with tears constantly going down her face. Akame has done all she can to keep him alive without turning him into a demon... He said he wanted to die as a human and go to the Pureland.
"Yes... She got her wish granted... She wished for eternal peace and prosperity for our world and her country was finally happy now and forever..." Akame couldn't bear to tell him the real story on his deathbed. She talked about Archer and his regrets and made that one a happy ending too...
Akame always told Nawaki stories from Manga and Light novels and he enjoyed every second she spent with him. Nawaki always saw Akame as a big sister and technically she is... He always admired her and always wanted to be just like her... Akame lamented how fragile humans are compared to demons... She wished so badly that humans were immortal... Akame finally felt her heart get crushed... She was telling him stories while he died as she tried to keep him alive...
She was defying the laws of nature and is suffering for it... Yet she did not care... She wanted to spend more time with her precious little brother... She wanted so desperately to have more time... As powerful as she is... She can't prevent a human from dying... She starts to think her ability to turn humans into demons is worthless now... No matter how hard she tried she could not get him to become a demon no matter how much blood she forced into his mouth... It did not work... She found out that if a human refuses to become a demon the siring will not work... All it will do is prolong human suffering.
"I'm sorry Akame-Onesan... But I'm ready... I'm glad I could spend a little more time with you... I love you... Onesan... Please wear this necklace... Prove to Tsunade-Onesan that it's not cursed... Good... B..." Nawaki finally breathes his last as his hand powerlessly falls out of Akame's hand.
Akame passed out from blood loss from all her injuries... Immortal, she may be but even she cannot resist having every last drop of blood drained from her body... This would have killed anyone else human or demon... Right now Akame sees this wish that she was granted as nothing more than a curse... She will never see Nawaki again... She is denied access to the Pureland and Shadowland... She will never see her most precious persons in the afterlife... She will never see Nawaki or Ansel... All of the people she loved so deeply are taken from her one by one...
"Demon Queen! Please lend us your strength! Konoha is in danger!" Akame's gaze is indifferent to the plight of the people of Konoha... She gazes at Kakashi with a look of nostalgia only for her gaze to become indifferent once again... She looks like a lifeless doll at the moment.
Tsunade is still alive but is traveling the world with Shizune drinking and gambling all the while Akame sends more money her way. Akame ignores the young Kakashi who asked for her aid in the third great ninja war...
'Are you trying to provoke me Hiruzen? What did you hope to accomplish by sending my departed friend's son here to my mountain... Were you trying to stir my feelings to get me to make me take action? I'm... too tired... I don't care about you humans anymore... The only human I care about... Is close yet so far away... and only a child with a nine-tailed fox inside him will bring her back to me... I'm waiting for the day she becomes the fifth Hokage... Only then will I come back...'
"Vel'dresd see the boy out... I no longer care about mortal affairs..." Akame goes back to sleep on her throne.
"Hakuto... Can you assist Konoha by sending some of your Aides to help them on the battlefields... Support Konoha financially as well... That is all..." Akame cuts the mental connection and falls into a deep sleep once more.
~Sigh~ "Akame... When will you wake up?" Akira sends his aides to help on the battlefields and supports Konoha financially. At least this action shows that a small part of Akame still cares about Konoha... if she didn't care at all she wouldn't have asked for his help.
Akira sends a wistful gaze at the blue sky wondering when Akame will awaken from the Darkness that has consumed her mind. He blames himself for not having his Aides help in the wars... Akame asked for him to lessen losses but he never interfered... Only when he saw that she lost every precious person she loved except one did he start to listen to her and follow her orders.
So should I direct the story in this way? or should I have her save Nawaki, Dan, Sakumo, and Ansel?
