Chapter 7

"Hey Amelia, can you please teach me a technique to gather fire particles before we get to the academy?"

"Yea sure I think I can do that. While it is an intermediate level technique, I was told that you were really good at learning them, and have already mastered the best water technique and the highest level of both offensive and defensive water magic. The spell that I am going to teach you after you get the technique is called the Fire Dragon. How does that sound?"

"That sounds amazing, and thank you for teaching me."

"Don't thank me yet."

After I had learned the technique and had started on the spell the voice appeared again.

"You have learned [Basic Fire Control lvl 4] and [Fire Dragon lvl 1]."

After that I started to train with that until we got to the academy. By the time we arrived I had already managed to get the fire dragon spell to level 4, along with my fire magic control to level 7.

As I was trying to leave the carriage that I had rode in to get here, I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Who do you think you are to bump into me and not start bowing and asking for forgiveness!? Do you not know who I am?"

"No, actually I don't know who you are."

"How can you not know who I am? I am the first born son and heir to the Higasa family, Chiyo Higasa!"

"Oh ok, I will try to be more respectful towards you."

"Don't listen to him. He is just a stuck up noble."

"How dare you call me a stuck up noble."

"Ok, so that is what's going on. Hi I'm Aki, who are you?"

"I'm Emiko, and I come from a more poor family that is trying to start a blacksmithing shop, so we don't have a last name. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

As we were headed into the academy to take the entrance exam I had decided to ask them what elements they could use, or if they were just here for the sword fighting classes.

"You said "elements", as then plural? I only have one and it is the earth element and have not even learned how to cultivate it yet, although I am pretty good with the sword. So what are you here for and what element can you use?"

"I'm here for both the sword fighting and the magic courses like you, but I can use all of the elements, including dark and light elements."

That is when her jaw dropped just like my parents when they found out how many elements that I could use.

"You might want to keep that hidden from everyone else, and ask for a private room before claiming that you don't know what elements you can use, and would be embarrassed if you could not use any. Oh and what elements have you already practiced?

"Mainly the water element with a little bit of fire, but have not done anything with the other elements."

"Where have you gotten with those elements?"

"I have pretty good control over water magic, and can use both Geyser and water Domain. Although with fire I can only use the Fire Dragon spell."

"You say only like it is nothing. I know full grown adults that can barely even use that spell, and don't even get me started on how impressive it is to be able to use those two water spells!"
