A DARK WORLD

I got home and had done my research about the world and other stuff, apparently there were 7 continents in this world but after the event known as 'cataclysm'. there were only 4 continents left in this world. 

1.Asia

2.Europe

3.Australia

4.Antarctica

I was currently in the asian continent alongside all of the humanity,the continent of europe was inhabited by orcs and dwarves, and Australian continent had elves.

The Antarctican continent was inhabited or so was thought by the world as it was not possible for any human or any race to traverse because of the 'icy veil' 

the 'icy veil' was the fog which was present at all time in the antarctica and if anyone tried to traverse through the fog they would be lost and spend a long long time travelling until they get out at the exact same spot they entered.

but it was then revealed that antarctica was inhabited by specters who were antagonist race of the novel, they possesed abilities akin to mind control and as any cliche novel antagonist they wanted to conquer the world and make their race dominant.

oh and after the 'cataclysm' the rest 3 continents were submerged and the remaining 4 continents were adrift and joined together as a huge land mass, with antarctica sharing its border with all 3 of them.

but there was no information as to what exactly was the 'cataclysm' and what happened, and i was reincarnated before i could know the truth.

"damn it!, so many mysteries"

 But i wont have to face any specters issues for atleast 2 years,not any major issues atleast.

 then there's the Arena.

all the students of the Imperial Court Academy have their physical examination both as 1v1 and battle Royale format.

there's also the Tournament for the 3rd year Students Which also acts as their last Examination before Graduation.

the Winner would be given a Sacred Artifact.

the Artifacts were categorised into 5 levels 

1. Awakened

2. Ascended

3. Sacred 

4. Mythical

5. Divine

Artifacts were rare even in this mystical world, and Sacred artifacts Could prove a huge Advantage in their service against specters.

Divine Artifacts were like Most Important thing in this world and as a result information regarding them were very scarce.

The people that possesed Divine Artifact could be Counted on Fingers.

it was possesed by the Leaders of each respective Race.

1 by the orcs, 1 by the Dwarves, 1 by the elves, and 2 by the Humans.

yes, Humans possesed 2 Divine Artifacts yet there Overall combat abilities were balanced between the Races.

one was in the Hand of leader of Humanity. Rivak Nueville.

The Other was in the Hand of Second Most Powerfull human. Ryan Aster, the Supreme Judge and of The Dean of The Imperial Court Academy.

It wasn't clear whether the Specters possesed any Divine artifacts or not.

Now onto the Human domain.

The Human Domain was in Control and Ruled by the 4 Families.

1. The Nuevilles

2. The Asters

3. The Rodrims

4. The Woods

And Evan was from the Rodrim family which meant they were filthy rich and Influental.

Anyways the Whole point of the arena and the Academy is to create Soldiers to defend against the impending danger known as Specters.

And Only I know the Dark Future that is to be befallen on this world by the specters.

Ryan Aster will have to sacrifice himself to defend The academy Against Specters.

Rivak Nueville Will be Controlled by the Specters in the Final war.

And the Other Two Families Would not be able to hold their lines for long once Ryan is down.

"Its truly a A Dark World indeed."

"That was way too much information for today, I should Focus on being prepared for my first Day at the academy, theres going to be acquaintances of evan there."

I was just wrapping my mind around all this information as i was both excited and terrified from my future.
