When Kevin asked Roy the question. He was beyond elated even though he didn't show it. Remembering the screams of Leon back when Kevin did it for him, he hesitated.

'Maybe Leon is more of a wimp than I think and the pain will be reduced by 50%. I'll just need to put on a bold face and suck in any pain. I can do this.' Roy thought.

"Ok I'll do it." he said.

He looked at Kevin who was seemingly looking at the space around him again with a focused look and suddenly a small bottle appeared in his hands.

He opened the brown cork and squeezed out some white cream from it onto his fingers.

*shing!*

His nails elongated as they did the last time and Roy flinched back a little in fear because of the sound of the sharpness.

As Kevin came closer with the sharp nails, he looked like the reincarnation of the devil to Roy as his hair cast a shadow over his eyes and his boots hit the wooden floor with a "ko" sound which was in sync with his heartbeat.

Roy stood up and put on a brave face to hide his fear but his shaking legs gave him away. "Calm down friend, it - won't - hurt...much." Kevin said with a devilish smile and monotone voice giving Roy more fear than encouragement.

Roy looked over to Leon on the floor acting like he had passed out but he hadn't because Roy had spotted him taking some sneak peeks at them.

Roy held out his hand and he was doing everything in his power to stop it from shaking. "Would you like it fast or slow?" Kevin asked with the same devilish grin. "F-f-f-fa-fas-t" Roy stuttered.

He put his other hand on his mouth and Kevin lifted up his hand and swung it down. Even before it reached his hand Roy had let out a scream.

Kevin used his index fingernail to scrape off the rank number 7 in a split second.

*pssssssss*

The blood made a squirting sound as it squeezed itself from the space that had been cut. Roy screamed louder than when he had been born. Louder than he ever did. Though it was a bit lower than Leon's when he screamed back then.

Leon opened one eye to watch what seemed like a drama to him. He stood up from his spot acting like the scream had woken him up and he rushed to Roy to cover his mouth.

However he was a bit too late as Roy's scream had made a loud noise. Raising his right hand he mixed two new skills he had gotten when he became a party member to create a totally new one.

[Earth manipulation] + [Water Manipulation]

He ignored the notification and made a very thick mud paste and made it stick to the door hinges and the wall to prevent it from opening.

"Open up! it's the palace guards!"

"Brother it's probably some attackers!"

"That was a child's scream!"

"Reo use your wind magic!"

Some guards had already reached the door and we're trying to open it. Kevin cut off the remaining letters and numbers and more blood and screams came out of Roy. Tears had come out of his eyes like an open faucet.

He looked like he was about to faint from the pain and blood loss but Kevin quickly cut himself too and let his own blood enter Roy's open cuts.

Their eyes glowed for a few seconds and Roy's wound closed up and he passed out. Kevin carried his friend in his arms and used [Loophole S] to teleport he, Roy and Leon to his room.

Just after they left the door was burst open but the guards found no one inside.

As Roy slept, Kevin could see 2 green line connecting his friends to him. He felt like if he wanted them to die they would and if he wanted to heal them they would.

It was a scary feeling knowing that their lives were in his hands and he would never try something like killing them.

Leon sat at the table and played some computer games and an ember of curiosity burned in Kevin. He activated the [Appraise] system skill and Leon's stat window came up.

Kevin looked at the stat panel twice in surprise and jealousy. After clicking the [Earth Manipulation] for more information, he was showed that Leon was given the skill the moment he got the system.

His water magic affinity which was 10% complete before was now another normal affinity and he was already an overlord! He was also 1% angel!

He had also made a new skill by mixing water and earth manipulation. Kevin smiled because his teammate was getting stronger. He had the feeling that that strength would save many lives in the future.

Kevin walked to Leon and gave him a pat on the back. "You really are worthy of being in the 'sovereigns of peace'." Kevin said with a smile.
