"So one of us will fail?" Sasuke asked looking toward me and Sakura.

"Yes." Kakashi looked at the three of us with keen eye to check our reactions. He attached the bells in his waist, "Now then, I'll be in the forest. Find me whenever you are ready!"

And with that he disappeared with a smokescreen.

'That's some flashy way of going out...'

I look toward the two of my 'teammates', Sakura was still busy staring at me, while Sasuke was thinking something deeply, well at least his expression said that.

"So, what's the plan?" Sasuke asked after a minute.

'What the fuck was that serious expression for?' 

"I say, we get the bells from Kakashi first, then we can fight among ourselves for the bells." This test is just rigged from the beginning. There are only two bells, which means only two among three will pass. It is literally meant to break the teamwork from beginning; no one will accept to work with the other knowing that they themselves may be the one to fail.

'Just accept it morons, it is the only way...'

[Do you think it will work? And what will you do if you succeeded to steal the bells?]

'I mean, its cool as long as we work as a team right?' The whole test was just meant for explaining the bullshit of teamwork and friendship, 'And if it doesn't work, then I'll have no choice but retort to a little bit of sacrifice and talk no jutsu...'

[Sacrifice?....ah I see what you're planning hahaha, well that might work, good luck.]

'Thanks'

"Yeah but how are we going to retrieve the bells?" Sasuke looks toward Naruto suspiciously. The Naruto he knew would never talk logically, he might as well have rushed toward the forest with a kunai on his hand, screaming 'I'm gonna be hokage!'.

Also the fact that he was carrying a sword with him and Sasuke had never seen Naruto use a sword in his life.

"I have a basic plan which might work", Planning isn't really my thing, but sometimes you have to use your brain a little.

"And that is?"

"I'll face kakashi in close combat using shadow clones, it will at least keep him distracted. In the meantime, you two can transform into one of my shadow clones and try to steal the bell." I said bluntly. It isn't really a much of a plan, but oh well....'teamwork' I guess...

"But Kakashi Sensei is a Jonnin. It won't take much of a time to destroy your shadow clones, also if we get attacked in the same time, the transformation will wear off." Sakura queried, finally coming out of her stupor.

"Hmm, she has a point." 

'No shit sherlock'

"The whole point here is to not get attacked by him and steal the bell at the same time. There is no way we are winning against Kakashi if we go head on." If I went all out maybe I could right now.

But the problem is he has a sharingan. If he uses that, martial arts won't be of any use as he can just interpret it and defend. Heck, with his experience in combat, he might as well counterattack at the same time. 'Damn now I want a sharingan too...'

[Hm, you want a sharingan?]

'Of course I want it!' 

[Geez, you should have just asked me you know? Didn't I tell that I would spoil you? Here enjoy!!]

'Huh? what do you mean enjo-'

Before I could even complete the sentence, I feel a burning sensation in my eyes. 

[Ding! You have obtained a rinnegan along with a rine-sharingan!!]

'Please....please don't tell me that I have colorful eyes now....' How the hell am I even supposed to explain that??

[Oh don't worry, you can activate and deactivate them at will unlike the others.]

"Naruto?, Are you alright?" Sakura looked toward me with worried face, seeing me holding my eyes.

'Well, she changed fast...' 

"Yes, I just got something in my eyes" I answered removing my hands from my eyes. "Let's move. If that plan doesn't work we need to try something else too. We have time up to noon after all....'

The two of them nodded and started to follow me. Seems like I've become the leader somehow. 'Doesn't matter, it just makes the job easier...'

Roaming through the forest for a while, I notice kakashi reading a book on the shade of the tree. I look toward the other two with a nod, which they understood what they had to do.

Sasuke and Sakura transformed into me, and I created a few shadow clones which rushed toward kakashi.

Kakashi, who was reading a novel, lifted his head and looked around, "At least they have hidden properly..."

Just as he finished saying that he saw Naruto's clones rushing toward him with kunai in both his hands.

"....nevermind"

The clones reached near Kakashi, but suddenly a lot of things happened at a time.

Two of the clones were swallowed by the ground, just as they stepped foot near him, a large hole appeared in the ground and the clones disappeared raising a cloud of dust.

One of the clones got trapped in a rope trap which locked his foot hanging him upside down as it also disappeared.

The last clone which reached up to Kakashi swinged his kunai toward aiming toward Kakashi's neck. It was pointless to aim at chest because of the armor, but Kakashi caught it's hand and swiftly kicked the clone at his chest with his left leg, standing on right as the center of gravity.

Kakashi looked around for the original body, but he didn't see anything. 'Looks like it's not only the looks that changed. The only reason that I can think of is the fox, but why would it help him...??'

Kakashi's mind was only focused on the nine tailed demon fox, but little did he know that the fox he was thinking about was replaced by a completely different entity....

"That takes care of the trap..." I said looking toward the mess the clones created. I was going to rush in with the clones, but then I remembered the scene where the original Naruto got hanged upside down on a tree. So I decided to send in the clones first.

"Now then get re-" I looked toward the other two who were looking with an 'O' face, "....what?"

"You've changed." Sasuke said in a deep tone, raising his eyebrows, "and it's not only the looks..."

"Everyone changes with passage of time, events, incidents..." I replied with a wry smile and looked toward Sakura, "..and certain people..."

Hearing which, I could see Sakura's body shivering and flinching subtly, maybe because of the changes in my eyes, otherwise it was hard to notice. Her eyes went downward and she couldn't see me in the face, not after remembering how she treated the old Naruto before.

[So, we are doing guilt tripping now, hahahaha]

'I'd prefer to call it emotional manipulation...' I thought rolling my eyes. I cannot just go and beat her, then put my paws at her head like in animal geography, then say 'you're mine bitch...'

Sigh...it would have been so much easier if that was the case....but, humans...I shake my head.

[It doesn't make it better, haha]

'whatever...'

"What?" Sasuke furrowed his burrows.

"Nothing, follow me...."

I created around hundreds of shadow clones and Sasuke and Sakura got mixed with them. It was impossible to differentiate which was a clone, which was original and which one were the transformations.

Coming out of the hiding place, I walk toward Kakashi, who still didn't move from the same place.

"Hello, Sensei~"

"Naruto...." Kakashi looks at me suspiciously. The change in me was too abnormal, that too in a very short period of time. So he decided to finally ask the question, "Answer me, is it the fox?" 

Kakashi was shooting the arrow in the dark, but if Naruto answered the question in positive it was totally another thing, but if he didn't know anything, it won't be much of a problem.

'fox?....Oh he's talking about Kurama?' I look toward him amusedly. 'But how did he reach to that conclusion?'

[Th old Naruto would have fallen for that trap. Trick and techniques wasn't exactly his fort was it? ]

'Ahh, so that was it, pfft....overthinkers..' Then out of nowhere a thought appeared in my mind. 'Hey system!'

[Hmm.]

'Let's go with a different route, what do you say?'

[As long as you enjoy yourself, do whatever you want. I'm with you.]

I could feel a lot of complex emotions coming from system, happiness, love...and melancholy.

Ignoring it, I look toward Kakashi with a neutral expression, "Well the fox says, it wants to help me, so why not?" I shrug my shoulders.

Kakashi's face was filled with a lot of emotions, perhaps this was the first time he ever showed this much of a reaction. Shocked, surprised, horrified, astounded, staggered , startled , overwhelmed whatever you name it, I didn't even need to see through the mask. His eyes said it all.

"A-and you trusted him?" He asked in a nervous tone. If somehow the fox got unsealed, the village would be reduced to dust.

"Trust?" I asked raising my eyebrows, "Trust is a too strong word, Sensei." 

"My father trusted you and see what happened, he sacrificed his life for the sake of this village and now his son in living like a beggar..."

[Damn, I can feel the burn from here, HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!]
