Chapter 8

[Chapter 8]

Naturally, Chelsea had no intention of following the merchant's arrangements. However, she feared that outright declining him would lead to unnecessary troubles in the future. For now, she had no choice but to agree.

"REALLY!? Thank you, Sir Merchant, for showing me such kindness," Chelsea said, bowing her head to the fat man, much to his amusement.

'Keke, as expected of a peasant, a foolish livestock. She's nothing more than a b*tch. I can't wait to taste her... I'll have her once I leave this wretched village,' the merchant grinned, his thoughts filled with malicious intent.

The women who were cleaning the floor couldn't help but overhear the conversation. Pity welled up within them as they knew Chelsea's naivety would only lead to a grim fate in the future. They were powerless to intervene, so they kept to themselves.

"Well, well, I expect you to pack your belongings since we'll be leaving in four days. Meet me here after that time," the merchant dismissed Chelsea, turning his attention to another woman who crawled toward him. He undressed his robe, engrossed in his debauchery.

Chelsea quietly left the room, her eyes frosty, concealing her thoughts and intentions. She unwrapped another lollipop from her pocket, placing it in her mouth as she exited the pub with light steps.

Back at her home, Lily bombarded Chelsea with questions about the meeting with the merchant.

"It didn't go well. The merchant is nothing more than a scumbag who wants me to work for him in exchange for food," Chelsea stated.

"What!? The audacity of that little--!" Lily's anger flared.

"Hey! Don't curse in front of me!" Chelsea smacked Lily on the head.

"Ow! Why do you always care about such small things, sister!" Lily rubbed her head, whimpering.

Lily couldn't go against her sister, no matter what, and could only voice her complaints.

"Anyway, what did you say?" Lily asked, eager to hear her sister's response, although she already anticipated her sister's rejection of that despicable offer.

"Of course…." Chelsea said, and Lily nodded already assuming the answer.

"…I agreed."

"That's right, you agree- Huh!?" Lily was nodding when she heard it once again,

Did she heard it wrong?

"H-Huh?" Lily made a dumb face looking at Chelsea as if she had seen a ghost.

"What the hell did you do, sister!!" She almost screamed before receiving another smack.

"Ow! Sorry!"

"No curses, and yes, I have accepted." Chelsea said.

"B-But why!?" Lily wanted to know why her sister accepted such a ridiculous offer.

Chelsea sighed, realizing Lily's shock. "Lily, how clueless can you be? I was hoping you'd develop some self-awareness. Can't you even guess why?" Chelsea shook her head in disappointment. Whenever Chelsea talked about herself or anything related to her, Lily's understanding seemed to falter.

She couldn't comprehend the reasons behind Chelsea's decisions? Considering Lily's witty and clever nature, it was absurd she still did not get the reason why...

Chelsea shook her head, whenever she would talk anything related to herself or just simply talk, Lily would always become dumb, she didn't know the reason why.

It was ridiculous how both sisters had some areas they were dense in, Chelsea being the dense case when it came to love life and social interactions, it was ironic how someone like Chelsea could dare to think Lily is the dense one here despite her own shortcomings,

But well, it was true that Lily was sometimes dense when things came to her sister or related to Chelsea.

Lily was usually very sharp and had Chelsea laid it in a way that it was from the perspective of someone else with similar conditions to them, she was sure that Lily would have caught on by now as to why the decision was made.

"Its obvious that he won't be living long enough."

Chelsea stated as a matter of fact before Lily's eyes shined in understanding, 'Ah, how ruthless of sister…'

She looked at Chelsea with reverent eyes.

"But how are you going to do this?"

In Lily's mind, killing humans was no different from killing danger beasts, she wanted to know what her sister was planning.

"I have already made some arrangements for that. You just have to wait and see for yourself later at that time." Chelsea said, in a flat tone.

Pouting Lily crossed her arms, not being able to know what was on her sister's mind left her restless somehow. She loved to know each thing her sister was thinking about, it was always something new and interesting, her sister was the most interesting person in the world.

She knew things that most of the villagers didn't know of, she taught her subjects that not a single villager had any clues about, she would train her physically and harshly that no village girl could endure.

In the village, girls were mostly left out from training hard and doing labor due to the fact that it was the job of men to do it. But her sister was the opposite which was very odd, she found it intriguing as to why her sister behaved that way. She defied the convention.

For now however, she could only wait and see what her sister had planned for that greedy merchant.

'It will be fun to watch how sister deals with this merchant…' Lily grinned mentally imagining a bloody sister, she was fascinated by the prospect of witnessing her sister's ruthlessness.

2 days later.

It was night time, the villagers were long asleep, only the rustling of leaves could be heard, the sound of wind, and chirping of insects, occasionally howls of danger beasts could be heard.

In a pub, a fat guy was snoring, sprawled across a large bed, deep in sleep, his fat stomach heaved up and down with each snore he took.

He was lying on a large bed and around him, there were some women sleeping soundly on the floor, they were all naked and reeked of recent sexual encounters they had.

The man snoring was none other than the merchant who had come to this town to recruit or force Chelsea to work for him.

He will be leaving this village in 2 days and right now he was sleeping peacefully after an intense session of sex.

He turned around in his sleep and the bed creaked, at that moment, the only window in the room opened, no voice was heard, the window was opened discretely,

A small figure entered the room through the wooden and glass window, it was none other than Chelsea, she was wearing a black, sleeveless bodysuit that fit snugly to her body. The bodysuit featured a high collar, which added a touch of elegance to her overall appearance.

Paired with her dress were black thigh-high stockings that extended all the way up her legs. These stockings complemented her black bodysuit and create a sleek and streamlined look.

Apart from that, she was also carrying something in her hand.
