Chapter 3 : Adorabilis?
[ An egg? I was in an egg! But where am I? There's barely any light so I can't see]
Due to Jas overexerting himself, he had to rest on the ground after coming out of his egg. As time went by, his eyes slowly got used to the dark atmosphere and he could now see much clearer than before.
[ Are these…tentacles? I don't know why I know this but these are definitely tentacles]
Now that Jas was able to see, he had discovered that he actually had tentacles as limbs. His tentacles flailed around in different directions when he tried to move. Just like how a baby had to learn how to crawl and make use of their limbs. Jas had to do the same with his tentacles.
After much practice, he was now comfortable with using his tentacles and had used its muscles to glide around the cave. While gliding, he found many eggs that looked similar to his own, each around 100 meters apart.
[ Seems like my brothers and sisters haven't awakened yet]
Jas continued to glide forward to see if any of his siblings had awakened but to no avail. Feeling dejected, he was about to turn and go back to his egg when he caught a glimpse of something shiny. Curious, Jas glided over to the sparkly sight, only to uncover that It was the moonlight reflecting off the stream of water.
While admiring the beautiful moon, Jas felt a little thirsty and thus wanted to drink from the stream. The moment he saw his reflection, a voice could be heard.

Shocked by the emergence of an interface, Jas stumbled and plopped onto the ground.
[ A game window? I see, so these are my stats and skills. Is it defective? Why are some of the characters so weird? Even my name is censored, the least it could do was tell me my name.]
Disappointed by the window's censoring, Jas sat there and studied the information that was displayed, in hopes of figuring out his name. After experimenting and clicking around, He found out that %!@$^$^!'$* Eyes, whatever it was called, allowed him to gather more information when activated, at the cost of 60 mana.
Adora heart, was a special trait of Adorabilis, giving them 3 hearts in their body. It allowed Jas to survive death as long as one of his hearts is not damaged.
World points, as the name suggests, are given to all creatures, monsters and human-like, by the world. When Jas clicked on the word with his tentacles, an extra small panel appeared.

[ Memories? Did I lose my memories? It did feel like many bits and pieces of information were missing. Well, I would love to buy it now but it's locked, and it says that I have to be rank 2 to unlock it. I know my rank is 1 but how do increase it? Let's try clicking on it, maybe more information will be given.]
Clicking on rank in the stats window indeed gave Jas the information he needed. It was written that he could increase his rank by reaching the highest level of his rank, with full Exp Points. Incidentally, at rank 1, the highest level is 12.
Happy that he could potentially get back his memories, Jas decided to aim to become rank 2. He wanted to start by killing monsters, as for some reason, this was the most natural response he could think of. Feeling hungry and thirsty, Jas glided towards the stream of river to cool off his thirst. Luckily for him, there were some crustaceans and fishes within the stream. However, their size was as big as his tentacles combined
Activating his skill, Jas was able to see the information of the crustaceans

There were many more crustaceans and fishes in the stream but only 4 status panels popped up. Simply using his ability on these creatures had drained him of his mana, and when he tried to use his skill again, the word 'Insufficient Mana' appeared. He then noticed that his mana was down to 38 / 336.
[ So a single use of my eye costs 60 mana, regardless of size, and the only information I got, was its name…] Flabbergasted by the skill's inflexible usage, Jas wanted to explode in rage but couldn't do so as hunger strikes him hard. Without much thought, Jas attempted to catch the prawns lying around. Swingling all of his tentacles, Jas made a loud splash sound, hoping that he was able to catch the prawn, but the loud sound only caused the prawn to jet away after sensing danger. Jas then tried to catch the other prawns by nimbly sneaking up on the prawn with all of his tentacles.
'Plosh'
As water splashed all over Jas, he caught the prawn with its fast tentacles. However, it was not without struggle. After realizing it was caught and taken out of the water, the prawn swished around as if its life depended on it, trying to get out of the tentacle's grasp. Annoyed, Jas thought of what he should do to reduce its movement. He didn't have any more tentacles to use as the prawn itself was so big, it needed all 8 of his tentacles to hold onto it. That's when Jas remembered that he was venomous. With a single bite, Jas injected his venom into the prawn and kept repeating this action, biting and injecting, biting and injecting. Although it took a few minutes for the venom to take effect, Jas was glad that his venom worked as the prawn had stopped its movement.
A small panel appeared in front of Jas, but he was too hungry to notice it. He quickly chowed down on the prawn, showing signs of ecstasy as the sweet and umami taste exploded in his mouth with every bite he took.
