Reincarnated As An Anomaly

"What is life like after being reincarnated into another world for me? No memories of the past, naur do I know where I came from or how I came to be dead. I simply was reincarnated into a world I was not mean't to be in, some may refer to me as an Anomaly. Some may believe that life as a reincarnated is like a ray of sunshine but that only lasts for a brief moment before it fades away. Not everyone is blessed with great fortune or extraordinary abilities from the start. Some people may be born into difficult circumstances and have to struggle to make ends meet. I had no magical power when I was born, in a world where it was common, so I was granted a special skill called Negation. This ability is what has kept me alive, as it can cancel out any magical attack. I have encountered people who were close to me, only to witness their eventual demise right before my eyes. I have endured the loss of so many people that it has caused me to become emotionally disconnected. What is the purpose of forming relationships if the person is destined to die anyway? The road I go is too dangerous for any weak person both physically and mentally to ally with. That is the harsh reality of Reincarnating for me. But I still do not lose hope. No matter how many times I question myself, I will prevail. There must be a reason to why I was sent here and I must find out. Doesn't matter how many times I fall or how many circumstances I've endured pain like no other. Atleast during those times I had peacefull times aswell with both friends and family, so watch out world. I, Tomo Yutura, am determined to survive until the end."

Chapter 5 Part I

I decided to take some time for myself following that impolite greeting, so I headed to a lake not far from a collection of trees and shrubs.

Seated by the lake, I was astonished by all the odd occurrences that had taken place since the day before. I kept gazing up at the sky, believing that my mom was in Heaven, tranquil and content.

I had not looked at my Status Window for a long time due to all the activity going on. I had nearly forgotten about it, I thought to myself. "Athena, can you hear me?" I inquired.

"I'm always here sir," She responded.

She still sounds as emotionless as ever. "Hey, can you open up the Status Window?" I asked.

"Of course."

"It must have been a result of the battle I had the day before. So, I can boost my physical abilities without leveling up?" This is a very beneficial knowledge.

Although nothing else had changed, my physical attributes had improved. I am becoming stronger, so I'm feeling more hopeful about that. Unfortunately, my magical abilities are still non-existent.

I noticed the ground shaking as I looked up at my Status Window. It felt like something huge was approaching, the reverberations of each step sounding like a powerful explosion. I spun around and was shocked to see a giant purple-scaled creature before me. "A dragon!" I exclaimed in surprise.

The dragon then lovingly licked all over me, getting me completely soaked in its saliva. In the alarming circumstance, I was unable to react or move at all.

I then heard multiple loud chuckles coming from behind the wyvern. "Tomo, how many times do I have to tell you? She's not a dragon, she's a wyvern and she's a friendly one."

A familiar voice echoed in my ears. As the wyvern moved aside, a massive metallic carriage, secured with chains attached to the wyvern, was revealed. Everyone was howling with laughter, and Aiden was beaming his usual smile.

Aiden asked me to get on the carriage, so I hurriedly hopped on, taking a seat beside Stella without paying attention to the embarassment of the situation.

Aidan shouted, "Fasten your seatbelts everyone, we're off to The Kingdom of Fuvolius!" as he motioned for the wyvern to move forward. The creature then started taking big strides, traveling at a rapid pace. I inquired, "What is the Kingdom of Fuvolius?" Sin responded incredulously, "You don't know?" I shook my head in the negative.

"The Kingdom of Fuvolius is renowned for its abundance of wealth and natural resources, making it a popular destination for tourists. Due to the wise teachings and funding of the guilds there!" Sin spoke with a boastful tone, as if to show off his expertise about the country, noting that it was thanks to the wise guidance and financial support of the guilds there that it was home to some of the most renowned Mages and Adventurers across the continent.

"Yes, it's renowned for its wealth, but we mustn't overlook The Slums," Stella said. "Oh yeah, I totally remembered that, but I assumed it was obvious," Sin replied. Stella let out a sigh.

Noah, who was sitting next to me on my left, shifted a bit, as if he wanted to say something. "The Slums of Fuvolius are extremely hazardous, with a great many impoverished and destitute individuals congregating there in search of a means to survive. Sadly, some of these people end up resorting to criminal activities or joining gangs in order to make money." Noah remarked.

Chloe, gazing at Jack, remarked that it was also the place where Jack and their boss had both grown up.

Chloe anticipated Jack to carry on the tale, yet in its place he made a sound of dissatisfaction before tucking his arms across his chest and shutting his eyes. I pondered to myself, is he frequently this disgruntled?

(Fun Fact! The countries in this world are bound together, making multiple continents and not multiple countries.)
