Chapter 13 Part I

I and Elyena started heading towards her town, with Elyena taking the lead.

Apparently Elyena was from DanaFall, the town where the ruler of the Human Region resided.

I pondered to myself, "Are they aware that they are in a Dungeon Level?" My hands slowly clasped together as I began to contemplate. "The Demonic and Mythical Beasts are understandable, but how did humans end up in this Dungeon?" I questioned.

As Elyena's gaze lingered on me for a moment, she remarked, "You sure do have a lot on your mind, don't you?" In an attempt to reassure her, I responded, "It's nothing to worry about!"

Elyena adjusted her stride to keep pace with me, looking over as she commented, "You're really unusual, I can't see any mana coming from you. It's amazing that you're so powerful despite that."

"See my mana?" I understand that certain people, such as mages, are believed to have heightened senses that allow them to detect mana, but it is impossible to actually see it.

I inquired, "Can you explain what you mean when you say 'seeing my mana'?"

Elyena gestured to her eyes. "I have a special ability called Clairvoyance," she said. "This gives me the power to perceive things that are not visible to the ordinary person. At times, I can get a glimpse of the future or the past!"

She commented "But with you it's different. I was unable to see any details about the you, or sense any magical energy emanating from you, which was unlike anything I had ever encountered before as everyone is supposed to be born wuth mana."

Firstly, It must be my Negation Skill that's nullifying the effects of her Clairvoyance. Secondly, I have absolutely zero mana so obviously she won't be able to see my mana in the first place. But I did not tell her this.

I was thankful that, thanks to Athena's system, I had the same capability as Elyena to see information about her when I opened her Status Window.

"Is it fair for her to start off with a thousand mana points right away?"

(Fun Fact! The typical mana level of a child is usually 70 or below (below average), 100 or above (average), 150 or above (above average), 200 or above (gifted), and 300 or above (extraordinary).
