Chapter 125

"I think my sword is the opposite of your sword because it was able to change in different conditions. And I don't know if I did it properly because I learned it by myself. I will start it." Ludger took his stances and started to move with a slow movement. 

The movements were so slow but after Ludger finished the first swing, the movements got faster. As his movement keeps getting faster and causing them to see the after effect of his movements. Different from Rainold's straight and powerful movement, Ludger's movement was beautiful and fast. While it seems to be lacking in power, but actually it was quite dangerous and can't be underestimated.

But the most mesmerizing part of Ludger's sword was the movements that look like someone who dances while holding a sword and make his surrounding seems to be glittering from the light that reflected by the sword.

"Ho, you also think that it was familiar, right?" Darius asks the person who just quarrelled with him.

"T-This..., how could...!?!" Edgar seems to be surprised by the technique that Ludger is using.

"So it really was that technique... How could he learn about that technique? I never heard of other people who are able to use it besides the Royal Family. Even our Kadaklan Family only know about what it looks like but are not able to use it." Darius feels Ludger becomes more and more mysterious. 

"Ludy, ...no, Ludger, where do you learn that technique? Please tell me the truth." Edgar asked with a serious face.

"Huh?! Ed? Is something wrong with my technique?" Ludger stopped and asked with a confused expression.

Edgar's face looks so grave and he seems to have something to say related to the technique that Ludger used. But his reaction makes Ludger feel more confused because it was something that Ludger made by mixing the technique from his past life and Pendragon's technique.

'Right, is it because of Pendragon's technique? Could it be, that it was something that only the royal family was able to learn?! How should I tell him? Will he believe me if I tell him I saw it in my dream?' Ludger feels panic when he realizes what's wrong.

"The technique that you use...where did you learn about it? Do you know where did it came from?" Edgar seemed to be having a hard time as he didn't know how to ask him.

"What he means is do you know that it was a technique that only the Royal Family was able to use? So we really want to know where did you learn it." Darius decided to explain Edgar's meaning.

"Hmm, now you said about it, it is really similar to the swordsmanship that the Royal Family members usually used. But there are different parts in Ludger's movements. While the Royal Family sword movement is fierce but Ludger's movement is more soft and elegant. The power in the slash is also different as Ludger more focusing on the speed so it seems to be lacking the power. But when both of you said it like that, I think the base was actually from the same source." Rainold tells them his analysis.

"Why did the three of you seem to recognize it just by watching it? This technique is only used by the Royal Family, right?" Ludger asked.

'Well, I just asked to lessen their suspicion. They must see it when they are together with the Royal Family. Ed and Rain were Prince Edmund's best friends so it was normal for them to see it before. But I will never be able to tell them that I know their future.' Ludger is curious about the reason that they will tell him.

"A-Actually, we are the friend of the Prince so we are able to see his training before." Rainold was the one who answered Ludger's question with a panicked expression.

"When you said it like that, I just realized that it looks different. But if it had the same base, we still need to know where you learn it." Edgar said with a serious expression.

"About this technique...I don't know if you will believe my story...but the truth is I saw it in my dream before and because it was able to be combined with my technique and create this technique...I think I can't use it again if it was as what you are saying..." Ludger shyly said.

"From a dream?! From your expression, you seem to be telling the truth. But did you just say you mixed it with your technique?! Why do you say it like there was nothing special about it?" Edgar said with a bitter expression on his face.

"Huh?! Is there anything wrong? All of my techniques are mostly made by mixing different techniques that I have learned before. It was something that everyone was able to do it easily if they tried their best, right?" Ludger's expression looks pure and innocent as he says it and makes the three people beside him become speechless because they don't know how to say it.

Maybe because when Ludger still lived in the East part of the Empire, or more precisely the Viscount Ruach territory, as Renneshia, she always scolded for what she was doing. It makes her to unconsciously have low self-esteem. For Renneshia, the people in this world have more talents than in her previous life because most of them have a blessing from the Goddess and have stronger bodies and have quicker learning abilities. But even with their blessings, they were unable to easily do what Ludger did.

"So, could you show me about the other technique that you use?" Rainold was the first person who opened his mouth and asked.

"I don't know if you will be interested in this because it was just a normal technique that most people use." Ludger said and showed a basic movement of the martial arts from his past life.

"I never knew that there was a person like him. Why did I never hear about him before?" Edgar mutters in a small voice.

Ludger and Rainold are exchanging their knowledge and talk about different types of techniques and other things that relate to martial arts. Edgar seems to be lost in his thoughts and seems to be agonizing about something. Darius is the only person who silently observes the three of them.

"T-That...how could their fate become tangled like that?!" Darius mutters as he seems to see something that no one is able to see.

That day Ludger learned a lot about the advanced martial arts in this world. It was really helpful for him to get some insight into his martial arts knowledge. The person that felt satisfied from that conversation was actually Rainold who really loves martial arts. Only Edgar has some complicated feelings about it and he seems to be agonizing about something. Darius seems to be thinking about something but he won't tell Ludger about it.

As the day passed, the sky became dark and it was time to sleep. 

'Indeed, when you are busy with something, a day will pass quickly without us realising it.' Renneshia thought.

"Will I dream about it again? I hope it won't be a strange dream." Renneshia said it and fell asleep.

"Good morning. Did I bother your study? I want to talk about something related to our relationship. I want to tell you that we need to appear together at tomorrow's party. Do you have any dress that fits tomorrow's party dress code?" A handsome young man with red hair and golden eyes shyly said.

'That's right, this handsome young man is Renneshia's fiancé, the Second Prince, Prince Edmund. Looks like I was watching another dream like before. Currently, Renneshia seems to be spending her time reading in the Royal Library like usual. But suddenly Prince Edmund came and started the conversation. It was the parts that didn't exist in the game.' 

"I only brought one dress but it didn't fit the dress code colour. Can I choose to not go to that party? I think my appearance will make them talk bad about you." Renneshia said with a sad tone.

Because she was being scolded for not having any blessings, Renneshia had low self-esteem. She was currently living in the palace to learn about the Palace manners and other knowledge so she would be fit to be the fiance of the Second Prince, Prince Edmund. But the relationship between the two of them was actually a fake engagement that both of them decided before.

As Renneshia want to find a way to save her mother, Prince Edmund wants to avoid all of the engagement that are sent to him. He chooses Renneshia to become his fake fiancee because she was not interested with him. At first Prince Edmund thinking that it was her way to make him feel interest to her. But when Renneshia move and stayed at the Palace, for her training, he finally realized that she was really not interested in him.

It has been around a month since Renneshia lived in the Palace. But except for her class, Renneshia almost spent her time reading in the Royal Library. A lot of gossip started to spread about their relationship. To make sure that no one would try to end their fake relationship, Prince Edmund started to visit the Royal Library every day and try to make some conversation with Renneshia. But sadly Renneshs keep her cold demeanor and only answer him with the most minimal answers.

And after few failed attempts, it finally ended in this situation.
