reincarnated hero pov...

after God had spoken his warning to me and vanished, I was left all alone in the forest, left in absolute solitude, my mind allowing itself to race with thoughts and questions.

questions that seemed to have no answer and thoughts that seemed to defy logic itself as I soon grew frustrated and gave up completely on thinking, forcing my mind into a quiet it has refused to see since I met the dark-haired man who was apparently, a force of magic and nature, so strong that even a thousand years ago when he was a human, he could threaten all life

"I need more information."(hero) I said aloud to myself, seemingly trying to jump start my own brain into going after the immediate solution to the problem I presented it.

"the system!"(hero) I realized, stupidly exclaiming it like an excited child.

[you wish for a brief history of the darkness pillar?]

yes.

[loading brief summary with all vital information]

[weaknesses: light strong enough to blind and burn mortals, holy energy, holy woman's seal]

[strengths: absolute command over darkness, physical power that scales alongside his magical power, immortality, extremely heightened and controllable senses, (ERROR! -unable to show more)]

[early life: Granularr was born human 1,025 years ago, to ordinary human parents, his childhood was unremarkable in its entirety, when reaching eighteen he awakened his magic, dark magic, a magic he quickly explored and pushed to its absolute limits. soon growing greedy and allowing himself to become one with all aspects of his power, leading him to build a summonable army that would allow him to conquer or destroy every kingdom on the entire planet. he was faced in massive head on combat against several armies and was eventually defeated. only temporarily, having to be forced into a prison in the realm of magic, a realm prison which he escaped and killed the current pillar of darkness, taking their place and their power. after that the holy order deemed him too dangerous to allow free, so they had God destroy his physical body and doom him to an ethereal one, a body they could seal away inside a willing host, never to be released again.]

[that was their goal, as over time he grew to understand the bounds of his seal and began working on ways to overcome it, his newest sealer being his greatest stride in that regard as he is allowed control whenever he wishes]

I felt as if I had just watched a fantasy movie as the system spoke, my mind displaying images of fierce combat and darkened landscapes.

I'd watch the hell out of it if it were a show or movie on earth!

but my thoughts were just that, thoughts.

I would never see earth again, I would never get to watch tv again.

"why so sad?"(woman's voice) echoed from behind me, scaring me, forcing my body into a jump as it moved away from her on its own.

"I'm not!"(hero) I tried to claim, my body language and horrible poker face giving me away immediately.

"I saw you meet my brother, there's no way you can't be sad after being told he would kill you."(woman) said as she stepped from the shady underbrush, her figure covered in medieval battle armor that was constantly being bathed by a warm golden glow.

she was perfect, her tone, her body, her eyes, her face, everything about her screamed perfection.

"I'm the pillar of light, the opposite of darkness, he is much stronger than I and there is much I do not know, can I accompany you for a time? I will give you magic and aid you in training if I am able."(light) offered, her deal enticing as hell with practically no strings attached.

either she was as naive as a newborn or worse than her brother and secretly plotting something.

but there was no way I would pass up an offer to travel with her, not in a million years, well, I wouldn't pass it up if I was still a dude, even then I'm sure she could turn girls to her.

"alright, sure."(hero) I said, trying and horrifically failing to play it cool as my body shook and trembled, my voice coming out as squeaky and broken.

"you're so cute!"(light) exclaimed gleefully like she was staring at a puppy.

all the blood in my body immediately raced south.

"what's our next move?"(Julie) asked me as she lazily skipped and zig zagged on the forest path, barely paying attention to what was just ahead, relying on me for that job.

"duck."(Granularr) I said just in time, Julie gracefully ducking, successfully dodging a low branch that would've smacked her in the face.

'pay attention to where you're going or next time I'll let the roadblock hit you."(Granularr) I pleaded, tired of playing babysit the accident-prone teenager.

something she would pick up on and respond to.

"I know you need to sleep, you haven't slept in a few days, go, I'll be fine, worst-case scenario you get a new sealer."(Julie) said, mixing my emotions.

"I'm gonna take the dark comment as a joke and go to sleep."(Granularr) I said to her as I paced into my realm, appearing directly in front of my perfect bed, king sized and comfier than a cloud with plenty of support.

from there passing out was easy, as the second I usually touch the thing I'm out.

vampire Guild Master pov...

"sire, I have news, our orc brethren are on the move, they're on their way to the draconic mountains, they are seeking to challenge an orc war party there, shall we assist?"(vampire) asked as he bowed before me, his gaze full of respect.

"we give them no aid, we are vampires, the only aid we ever require will come from our lord when he deems it necessary, they will either succeed or they will not pass down their weak bloodline."(guild master) I responded, causing a spark of impression to grow upon the young man's face.

"yes sir!"(vampire) echoed as he raced from my office, smile on face and answers in hand.

"they will be decimated dear brother."(princess) spoke, her form appearing from the shadows of the rooms far corner.

"they have much to prove to father, to the lord, we all do, let them die if they must, our lord does not tolerate weakness and incompetence, and neither will we."(guild master) I responded firmly.

"speaking of father, where is he? he has not come and claimed my reports of the humans or the requests to send resources to a sole location."(princess) asked, her tone faltering to worry and concern.

"he is working, he has killed two of the remaining four angels, he is on his way to kill the remaining two, for now keep your reports and store your resources, we will all be in need of them soon, as eldest brother I claim this authority."(guild master)

she bowed slowly, staying there for a moment before righting once more, backtracking to the shadows she appeared from and vanishing from the room.

"you were right, and seeing as I woke early and are nowhere near my target and will not be for some time as humans walk painfully slow, let us begin discussing the plan, first, where are we invading?"(Granularr) asked as his misty form appeared before me.

"we invade and turn the dragons, quietly of course."(guild master) I informed, glad to see that our lord has selected me to spearhead the operation.

"no one knows of our plans, keep it that way, I need not a single soul realizing what I am truly after."(Granularr) ordered, his hand placed firmly on my shoulder.
