Tsunade's thoughts

Today had been a totally surprising day for Tsunade. She had been sad for a long time now. Her grandmother Mito was an Uzamaki so she had good relationship with them but their whole village was destroyed last year by the alliance of three other major villages.

Konoha despite being their blood allies , did not send reinforcements to help them. She was an experienced ninja so she could see through the actions of the Hokage at that time. He had sent reinforcements but they were too late. But she could guess that her teacher had no real attitude of helping them in the first place.

She could also see that the hidden passage to the Uzumaki village must have been deciphered because someone from Konoha's higher echelon had betrayed them. Otherwise there was no way to crack their seals.

She could sense that a war was approaching soon. So she proposed an idea of training medical nin and sending one with each small team to reduce casualties in the war. That was also denied. She was already fed up from seeing the bloodshed but was powerless to do anything about it.

Her grandmother was reaching her last days soon. She could tell after all she was the best medical nin in the village. Naturaly she could not do anything to stop natural death either.

Tsunade was already arriving near her breaking point. Still today there was finally a happy event in her life. In the morning she heard from the guard that a young kid was asking for her. She could guess the purpose as she was already used to rejecting kids who hoped to become her disciples.

It's not that Tsunade was cold hearted. It's just that she practiced medical ninjutsu which dealt with lives. So she could not accept any mediocre talent. She still helped at the Konoha hospital all the time and teach others her techniques. But they could only learn few easy ones.

The reason was because her knowledge was vast and relied on firm basics. It already took a long time to learn basics of medical ninjutsu much less her knowledge which was too advanced for them. So she also wanted to take in a personal disciple and groom him or her from scratch. When the basics match , the advanced knowledge could also be absorbed more easily after all. Alas her luck was bad.

Today though a kid with great potential came to her on his own. He was cute one and would definitely become a lady killer in future. She was also surprised by his stubbornness which reminded her of Nawaki. She tried to refuse but decided to give him a chance only to be extremely surprised.

His chakra was already at peak chunin level and its density was even thicker than some jonin. This could only mean that the kid not only had talent but also practiced harder than anyone else. Otherwise the chakra density could never be that high at his age. Heck even she had less chakra density compared to him even when she was a teenager. Jin was only 10 years old at that. He was simply a monster.

She was happy in fact extremely happy because she had gotten an extremely satisfied candidate to learn all her knowledge. She readily accepted him and even checked that the kid had determined mind too.

When she presented her handwritten notes to him , she was not that serious but was actualy checking if her new disciple had the guts to spend most of his time on boring work like reading astronomical amount of medical notes. Surprisingly he also passed that test despite looking threatened by the books. She almost laughed at the sight as he looked too silly and cute.

She was finaly a little happy and even the urge to drink sake did not come today. That was a huge feat for her that only she could understand. Still she was very worried about Jin too.

Being a medical nin , it did not take long for her to realise that Jin was definitely living a very hard life. From the condition of his body and that huge chakra capacity for his age and no bloodline, she could estimate how much he would have train to achieve that feat. It required extreme determination and regular training. She was even sure that she could not do the same if she was put in his place.

Tsunade decided to see what her disciple was up to by herself. Next morning , she left a shadow clone inside her home and started roaming the village in search for her disciple.

Being a ninja , it did not take her long to find his home but the shabby apartment was empty. She could even tell that he had already left here for more than two hours already.

While wandering , she finaly found his traces which led towards Training ground no 2. She finally saw her disciple there but was shocked by the sight. Jin was fighting three chakra beast alone .

Wild chakra beasts were powerful. They had the strength and instincts that were honed in the wild which were dangerous than ninja. But her disciple was fighting with one C rank and two D rank chakra beasts alone. He was fighting with such skill that was impossible even for a regular chunin.

Jin's sensory range was about 800m radius around himself including underground. So within it , it was impossible to hide from him. He could even find a coin buried hundred meter underground much less a ninja. Still he could not see or sense Tsubade because she was watching from outside his range.

Tsunade was at a loss because she felt that the ten year old was too amazing. His will was stronger than anybody else she had known till now.

Well she had no idea that inside the ten year old body was a 17+5 year old person. What Jin thought was hard was abnormal in her eyes. She could not be blamed for that.

One thing became certain in her mind though. She now was certain that her disciple had the will to become strong and she would make sure of it. She then left like wind and Jin did not notice her presence from the start to end.

Right now Tsunade planned to push her disciple to his limits over and over but first she decided to teach him the importance of medicine baths and pills which would help him rebuild his tired body faster and lessen the burden on it.

Jin had no idea that Tsunade's plan would basically save his life because if Jin continued with such extreme training routine always , his body would definitely accumulate internal injuries and would break down one day which would have resulted in sure death or a crippled body.
