Meeting Hokage
Hiruzen Sarutobi was as usual sitting inside his office battling with huge amount of paperwork. Suddenly a sharp sound of wind cutting came along with an anbu who immediately kneeled down on one knee.
Hiruzen did not even look up and started talking with a deep voice.
Hiruzen - So how is the investigation?
Anbu - Its already completed Hokage sama. The kid's background has absolutely no problems.
Hiruzen - Okay. You're dismissed.
Anbu - Hai !
The anbu flickered away and Hiruzen had a thoughtful expression on his face.
' Mori Jin ha? It seems like his possibilty of being a spy is zero then. But what special talent did Tsunade see in him? Hmm.. looks like it's time to meet him personally.' Hiruzen decided and left his office. His destination was Senju main manor.
At the same time , Jin was reading the scroll comparing details of shadow clone jutsu inside the study room of Tsunade while she was reading something advanced which he did not understand at all.
' Hmm.. ' Suddenly his face changed because he could sense a huge chakra even more than Tsunade approaching their way slowly.
' This.. but I cannot sense any hostility so its definitely not an enemy then. Wait ! I recognize this chakra signature. Its Hokage! Why is that old geezer coming here? Is he here for me? It's possible after all one of his students suddenly took in a disciple of her own. He would definitely want to meet me. Well I dont care anyway.. '
Jin - Sensei Hokage sama will arrive here soon.
Tsunade - Ah.. is that so. Eh.. how can you be so sure Jin chan?
Jin finaly realised that he had not yet told her that he was a sensor. So he felt a little embarrassed about it.
Jin - Umm.. I'm a sensor actually. We did not talk about this subject so I forgot to tell you about it. Sorry sensei... Ah.. Hokage sama is here already.
Just a second later, the soji door was opened and Jin saw a middle aged man wearing long red white robe coming inside. Jin bowed and greeted him with some respect in his tone because no matter what Hiruzen was the leader of the village in which he lived in.
Jin - Greetings Hokage sama!
Tsunade - Tsk.. why are you here old man?
Jin was surprised by the displeasure in Tsunade's tone but understood it after thinking for a second. Well of course she would be angry with Hokage because of the Uzumaki incident and rejection of her proposal at the council meeting.
Hiruzen - No need to be angry Tsunade. I just heard a rumor that you accepted a student. So I came to meet him. You must be Jin kun then..
Jin - Yes Hokage sama..
Tsunade - Jin chan , no need to be so uptight. He is just my teacher and an old man.
Jin looked at her and nodded because he also was not interested in always speaking formally with Hokage. After all he personally did not like the old man.
Hiruzen - What are you teaching him.. sigh.. Anyway I came here so why dont we have good chat Tsunade ?
Tsunade was still displeased but nodded anyway . Jin could tell that she still had some respect for the old man.
Jin - Then I will go and prepare some tea and snacks..
Hiruzen - Wait Jin kun. This scroll.. Shadow Clone? Can you come here for a second Jin kun?
Jin - Okay.
Jin stood in front of Hiruzen. The old man did the same thing as Tsunade and sent some of his chakra inside Jin's chakra pathways through his arm. This time though Jin could feel it because of his perfect chakra control. It simply meant that Jin was now very familiar with the smallest changes in his chakra.
Hiruzen on the other hand was feeling shock inwardly because of the large and dense chakra of Jin. He subconsciously looked in Tsunade's direction who had a proud smirk on her beautiful face.
Jin also noticed this and could not help but feel a little happy himself too. After all his teacher was proud of his hard work.
Hiruzen finally let go of Jin's arm and started talking.
Hiruzen - Jin Kun, do you believe in the will of fire?
Jin thought for a few seconds and nodded.
Jin - I dont know about that but I will do anything to protect Konoha because my best friend and sensei love it and live here.
Hiruzen was surprised by the Frank answer. After all there were only a few people who had the guts to speak the truth before him considering this question. He was also feeling very curious.
Hiruzen - Oh? Can you tell me the name of your best friend then?
Jin - Minato Namikaze. He is student of Jiraya san.
A light flashed in Hiruzen's eyes as he looked at the back of Jin who was walking towards the kitchen. He was feeling good inside because he thought that he could control Jin as long as he could control Minato. Well Hiruzen was not completely right there but such thoughts were good for Jin though as he could avoid excessive probing from the side of Hokage for now.
