Emergence Of Qilin, Another Otherworlder

This was undoubtedly the Fifth Principle, Earth, representing the Central part of the land. The standard version could be called Huanglong or Yellow Dragon, but this thing I was looking at doesn't deserve such a title.

This Beast I was looking at in fear and animosity was called Qilin. Imagine the Yellow Dragon of the Center has a twin corrupted and darkened by the world's evils... That, my dear readers, is what you call a Qilin. At least, that was the story I was told in the world that I grew up in.

I felt my blood run cold as the Ankou backed away from the roaring monster. The Beast looked like a dragon but with a sharp beak. It was purple and black with spikes running on its spine. This was bad... Very bad...

I don't have enough power, and I doubt Duncan could use any more spells without harming his physical body. Therefore, I will not push the child any further unless Duncan has been sleeping and has fully recharged his Elemental Energy supply. He has already exceeded my expectations.

I was afraid forcing the child anymore would cause him to go out of control or, even worse, kill him. I was not ready to be strangled by a very angry Valkyrie. Before we could do anything else, a male voice emerged and echoed throughout the area.

"Hear my call, O' Ancient Goddess of Mesopotamia! Goddess of love, war, and fertility... I give my prayers to you. You are the Queen of Heaven, so show me the power of Divine Justice! No one dares to challenge your Authority; else they face the wrath of the Heavens!"

"Allow me to use the same spell that destroyed Mount Ebih!" yelled the man, who had an intense but high-pitched voice as if someone was pinching his nose.

Wait... Wait! Are you serious?! Is that spell seriously what I presume it to be?! You know... I was only joking when I was rambling on about the many spells of this realm. Now that I'm faced with the actual thing, I seriously considered if I should pack up and leave or kill myself.

Because if these kinds of attacks float around, I am out of here! There's no way I could go up against that?! Never mind the Beast of Central and Midsummer or even all Five Phases; this new threat was way worse! What's next?!

Never mind, forget I said that because it would probably come true. Finally, after internally freaking out, I saw a tanned, tall, skinny man with spiky black hair holding a large blue bow.

On top of the figure's head was a substantial eight-pointed star shining brightly in gold amongst the pitch black of the night. The bow's body was thick and more extensive than the man's and was adorned with cursive designs of gold and red.

I gasped as I ordered the Ankou to put me down. Once the Reaper did, I rushed forward to see the mysterious man flying in the sky with black purple feathered wings. A fallen Angel? Nah... It couldn't be since the power he was unleashing didn't match up. But he looked Chinese to me...

His eyes were solid black while his Aura surrounded his figure like a dark, purple mist. Vania, I'd like to know about him, so do a scan of the man in the sky.

"Notice. The unknown flying being has been identified as an Otherworlder. He does not have a definitive Element, but he uses weapons from Chinese and Mesopotamia Myths. He is affiliated with the Tank Class and has a rank within the Mafia, under VK."

Ah, so an assassin like me... Or maybe one of Bryan's ex-colleagues... Though he looked like a good fellow to get along with, I was still cautious about one thing. It couldn't be possible to have him around here... Another one of me? I thought Z mentioned that Otherworlders are very rare...

Most had died or were summoned to different parts of the world. So how did this person slip through the cracks? I scanned the man again to see his incredible stats. This guy's defense was through the roof!

It was twice as much as his attack stats, making him a super good tanker. But that's when my jaw dropped when he stuck out his hand and caused a rip in the fabric of the night sky. The winds picked up as the rip widened, revealing the cosmos and the planet Venus.

The colossal planet shrunk into the size of a ball and hovered over the man's open palm. He then grabbed it, placed it on the nook of the bowstring, and drew the weapon. The orb of power turned into a giant arrow and was emitting out Elemental Energy levels that of a power plant!
