Reincarnated As A Dystopian Resident

Prince Vikram II, notorious for his cruelty and deceit, had earned the dreaded moniker "Rakshasha" through his triumphant two-year war against the twelve ancient tribes. Seeking respite from the weariness of his existence, he discreetly slipped away from the uproarious celebration held in his honor, leaving chaos in his wake. Yearning for familiar comfort, he sought refuge in his secret sanctuary, indulging in the intoxicating allure of Soma wine, an elixir to drown his sorrows. Clutching onto the sole source of meaning in his desolate life, The Diaspora Trilogy, he eagerly delved into its final volume, longing for closure and a fleeting connection to his humanity. However, instead of solace, the concluding pages ignited a raging inferno of fury and frustration within him, leaving him seething with anger. Drained by a combination of rage and exhaustion, he succumbed to an agitated slumber, only to awaken abruptly, his senses assaulted by the harsh reality of being tightly bound, gagged, and wounded on the frigid, unforgiving metallic tracks of an unfamiliar and ominous location. Author - Introduction To The Novel!

Hey Otakus!!

First of all, thanks for clicking on this Novel. Being one of my initial works, this story is really close to my heart, and I'm grateful that you showed interest in my work.

A quick introduction, I'm @iceadobe [🇮🇳], a budding-wannabe writer, and a super big fan of neo-mythology, second chance, reincarnation, and dystopian stories.

That is why you will find that the [Reincarnated Dystopian Resident] strongly permeates those genres in its world-building and plot setting. Although the novel isn't totally dark, if you are someone who can't stand dark stories at all, I would recommend you skip this novel.

In summary,

It is a story about our protagonist Vikram being transmigrated into the fictional world of Diaspora where humanity is on the brink of collapse, the world order has been destroyed ages ago, and power is justice.

In Diaspora, the further you move away from the prosperous Zone(s), the lesser the feeling of empathy and compassion you would encounter, and Vikram happened to transmigrate as an unknown character in one of the most backward Zones of the Diaspora.

When Vikram, a cold and ruthless Army General in his last life, suddenly finds himself lost in the new world, where the rules of nature aren't the same, what choices will he make? Knowing that the end of the world is near, Vikram is already on borrowed time, but still, the Lady-Unluck is stuck to her like a vampire sucking all the vitality from its prey.

@ Will Vikram be able to uncover the mystery of the fictional world of Diaspora that had only existed in a not-so-well-known Novel of his previous world?

@ Will he find out the secret of his transmigration and what exactly is a System?

@ Why are there so many similarities between this fictional world and his previous world? Was it a coincidence, or is there a bigger conspiracy brewing in the shadows?

@ and Finally, Who is he in this new world and what is his story?
