Awaking Magic Core

Almira followed quietly as Aiden sat on Sadie's lap and dangled his feet.

Although Aiden was thirteen, he wasn't big either, nor was he that tall.

The building they reached was a temple-like building with a large area. This building was too large for Aiden's core awakening. But this building was also so large that it could be used with Sadie's core rank up. So the building was ready just in case.

Sadie and Almira entered the temple. It was so plain inside that it could literally be said to look like an abandoned building. Sadie kissed Aiden's head and said, "I know you'll make it, but good luck dear." Then Aiden said, "Thank you, sister." After saying that, she lowered Aiden to the ground.

Then, nodded her head at Almira, she went outside the temple. She chose to do this because she could easily watch it from the outside, even if she was inside at the time of the event she will not affect the anything either good and bad way.

"Follow me honey," Almira said as she grabbed Aiden's hand. As they both approached this area, Almira spoke again. "As you can see since you started feeling the mana, this area in front of us is very mana-dense. As we enter there, baby, you will immediately take the lotus position and start meditating, and I will direct the mana around you, honey." she said with a smile.

"Then are you ready baby?" said Almira, smiling gently. "Yeah, Mama." Aiden glares hard at he said.

After Almira let go of his hand, Aiden took a deep breath and entered the space. The first thing he felt when he entered was that he had entered a very cold space, but it also felt very burning. For a moment, he felt one with the light and being swallowed by the darkness. He felt like a dead man and was reborn in an instant. He felt time is lost its meaning and space was distorted.

The reason for this phenomenon was that each time a person raised their mana core rank, their understanding of the world would increase and they would feel as if they were starting to become one with it.

This was the first time Aiden had entered such a dense mana field. That's why these feelings suddenly attacked him. But it was so short that it might not have lasted even a second. After all, right now he was a mortal without a magic core.

As soon as he regained consciousness, he crouched down into the lotus position. Almira knew what her son was going through in, but when she saw that he was not having any problems, she took a sigh of relief and went behind her son.

Almira placed her hand gracefully on his back, the part where exactly opposite his chest. Then she found the ends of all the mana veins in Aiden's body and began to open them. She was slowly directing the mana around them into the his veins one by one.

Aiden felt that something that had hitherto been blocked in he's body was now opening up. When Almira opened the end of each vein, he directed the incoming mana towards his chest. Of course, as he could not keep up with his mother's speed, Almira withdrew her hand after a while and wished her son good luck and went to the place where her daughter was waiting outside.

Aiden didn't feel his mother was gone because right now, he was trying to stabilize every single drop of mana vein and directing it to his chest. Once a mana vein reached his chest,it would naturally stabilize. And as Almira had said, he could feel his body heat up every time he continue.

Almira and Sadie were outside watching calmly. Aiden had been meditating for 30 minutes and was sweaty and covered in other substance.

This substance was solid miasma. Miasma was the 'waste' of mana. Aiden's mana veins had existed since he was little, but they were closed. A small amount of mana could enter him, but just because they were stuck there, it started to turn into miazma in his body. Now finally, as those veins opened, new mana was expelling the miasma.

Aiden noticed this momentarily, but he wasn't really in a position to care. Although he seemed calm on the surface, he was actually tired. For half an hour, he was slowly directing his mana veins to the same spot on his chest, trying to keep the rest of them stable. His mental strength was declining rapidly, and his discomfort was increasing as his body continued to heat up more and more.

Almira and Sadie were calm because until now they were very confident that the last member of their family would be able to make it through without any problems, and no problems had arisen as far as they could see.

Aiden continued to connect all his mana veins to the same spot with difficulty for another 30 minutes. Finally, when his last mana vein was connected, he mana that had accumulated within him began to form violently in a circular manner. For a moment, Aiden thought he was going to faint, but he managed to stay on his feet.

Mana started solidifying directly from its gas form. As this phenomenon was taking place, Aiden felt the temperature drop in an instant, as if covered with ice. Finally, when he fully completed his mana solid form, the magic core inside his chest appeared.

It was standing there, all black, as it was a newborn magic core. The reason it was black was due to the accumulation of miasma when it first spawned, and this pollution would disappear at the first rank up.

When the whole process was over, Aiden fell to the ground and began to breathe deeply. Since he used all the mana he collected from around to create the mana core, the mana veins in him were empty. Now his body was regularly absorbing the mana around him, filling him with vitality.

Almira and Sadie continued to watch calmly. They breathed a sigh of relief when they finally saw that Aiden had open all of his mana veins without any issues, and that he had managed to build his magic core with no issues.

This was not due to their concerns. In the end, no one would want their loved one to suffer in front of their eyes.

Almira activated her bloodline's ability and looked at her son. After self-confirmation, she canceled the ability and calmly looked at Sadie. "Honey, after congratulating Aiden, can you give us some alone time?" she asked.

Sadie looked at her mother in surprise. She didn't know why she wanted such a thing, but she knew better than anyone that her mother was someone who always thought of their well-being. If she wanted such a thing, she knew that there was a good reason for it, so she said without debt, "Okay, mom."

Almira knew her daughter was feeling sad. So, with a teasingly laugh, "Come to our room tomorrow afternoon, honey. I'll let you two have fun alone." she said.

Even though Sadie had lived alone all these years, she understood what her mother meant. Her face blushed a lot from that, but she was looking forward to doing it with Aiden as much as the two of them. So she nodded her head harshly.

After Almira laughed at her daughter's attitude, they both went inside to meet Aiden.

Aiden could hear the two of them approaching him, but he couldn't move as he was really tired.

As Sadie approached, she use magic to captured and destroyed the filthy miasma on Aiden. Since miazma is also mana, if you clear it, it would turn into mana again. But it was easier said than done. Although miazma was a different version of mana, it was a corrupted version after all. Cleaning it was more complicated than clearing a curse with holy magic. Sadie had actually destroyed it, rather than bothering to clean it up.

She then squatted down beside Aiden and kissed him on the head. "Congratulations, dear, for successfully building your core. Your sister is proud of you." said Sadie.

Aiden "Thank you sister." he replied. Aiden smiled brightly as he said this, although he was tired.

Then Sadie went out as her mother wanted. He would wait patiently until it was his turn tomorrow.

Almira smiled quietly at her well-behaved daughter. Then she approached Aiden in the same way. She rose back, crouching to the ground, taking Aiden in the princess hug. Aiden was so embarrassed and blushed in this embarrassing position. But feeling his mother's warmth and affection, he calmed down and looked at her expectantly.

Almira looked at her little baby, who waiting to be praised. With a warm smile, she said, "Congratulations, baby, on successfully building the magic core. Mama already knew you'd make it."

"Thanks, Mama." Aiden smiled brightly, the same as he showed his older sister.

While the two were talking, Almira headed for another door inside the temple. Behind this door there was a bathroom area. The reason for this room lay in the fact that one could sweat profusely when raising their core or awaking it up. Even Aiden could clean himself with a spell if he wanted to - ignoring the fact that he didn't know the that spell - but still, everyone preferred to relax in a hot water and get cleaned up.

Although Aiden didn't look like it, he actually smelled after all that miazma and needed a bath.

Almira and Sadie didn't care if he smelled or not. Such details were not given attention much as they showed the love their little babies wanted.

Almira seated Aiden on a stool and slowly poured the hot water over him. After comforting her son, she did not continue to wash him and sat down in front of him.

"Honey, there's something we need to talk to about you." she said calmly while Aiden looked at Almira in surprise.
