Theo

"You can tell me. I want to know the truth." She asked with an expressionless face. She didn't have much love for him and didn't care about what he was doing. But now he had brought a child and was doing some experiments on him. In the past few years, he brought many humans and other species and did experiments on them. No one could stop him not questioned him. She once tried to ask him but he didn't even spare a glance at her. All this made her hate him, even more.

"How did you know?" the boy again stepped back unconsciously.

Hearing him, she shook her head. "That bastard, so he died by doing something to you, if I guessed it, right." She had a hunch that something might have happened causing a backlash on his experiment. In the past, during his experiments, they were many times he failed and suffered injuries.

She tried to find out what he was doing but she couldn't.

Now those experiments had led him to his death.

She was feeling a bit sad that, in their married life, the initial stages were somewhat good and from which they had a son. Blodig didn't talk to the both of them as time progressed. He was too busy with himself. She also didn't pursue him as their only agreed as it was for convenience. He was not much of a father nor was he a husband.

Hhaa...

She sighed heavily.

"Can you tell me what happened? I mean no harm. Just tell me what you know?" She asked him.

The boy looked at her and started explaining the things he knew about the man and what he done to him. He only said about why he came here.

"So, he brought you from a star called earth and you were meant to be his vessel. But he was absorbed by your soul." She was taken aback by his words. She never would have guessed that the boy in front of him was the reason for Blodig's death.

"Well, it doesn't matter anymore. Not to me." She said. She was already fed with him, the way he handled things and his obsession over powers that he wouldn't even bat an eye for killing anybody.

As they were speaking, the boy suddenly fell and lost consciousness. That huge amount of power was just transferred to him and his body had undergone major changes. So the fatigue kicked in.

Grrrr

The boy's stomach made the sounds of hunger.

She was startled by his fall. Mary looked at the boy, "Blodig, did really you have to do this to a young child? If you were present in front of him, I would have killed you myself."

The empire was mostly controlled by her because Blodig was always busy with himself, he was either roaming or occupied with other stuff.

Mary was a kind-hearted woman. She cared for her people and her race. They weren't much of their race. She managed the empire without any mishaps.

"Take this boy to the place and feed him something to eat," Mary ordered the general.

The general nodded his head and walked to the body. He told the soldiers to bring him and they left with the boy.

Mary flew to the cave and searched the entrance and found it, but only to realize it was blocked by huge stones and lava was flowing out of the entrance in between those rocks.

The total mountain now looked like it was flattened on the ground. The cave was now crumbled to the ground.

In the imperial palace, they were a hall long and wide. Its roof was a couple of meters supported by the round pillars. Those pillars had an engraving on them. In the middle of the hall, the throne was placed at an elated floor.

Mary sat on her throne gazing at the throne beside her. She managed the empire even before when he was there without relying on him. So she had no problem dealing with the issues.

A young man entered the hall and walked toward the throne. He wore golden light armor with a cape behind. He had the same hair as Mary. He called out to her.

"Mother."

Mary came out of her daze to look at her son standing in front of her. She had a serene look on her face.

Theo was a youthful-looking man with a sturdy body. He is about twenty-six years old.

"Son, tell me," she replied.

" I heard from the general about the situation. He also brought a human. And, Where is the father?" he said as he frowned. He didn't have much of a father-son relationship with Blodig.

Blodig didn't even put any effort into being a father. All he cared about was himself and his strength. This made an impression on Theo. Naturally, Mary was not like Blodig, she took care of him and raised him up to a fine young man.
