Kendra was absolutely flustered when Ro-Zek turned in its Guild Card, much to the Slime's enjoyment. Her hands trembled as she handed the card back, as very few C-Ranks had been born in the small town of Thriken Woods.
"So," Ro-Zek chuckled, "You're not going to back out of our date now, are you?"
"W-wh-what? No way!" Kendra stammered. "I can't wait to talk about what happened!"
Kaju laughed from the side, "Girl, you sure know how to pick em!"
"Not funny, Kaju!" She said as she stuck her tongue out. "You're the one who thought he was the reason for the missing adventurers!"
"Wait, what?!" Ro-Jek blurted out.
"Hahaha!" Kaju slapped him on the shoulder and turned around to head out. The man didn't seem to be embarrassed at all.
