Ashley's POV

"The lycan king would die if the heir in Ashley's womb is born to him."

I woke up immediately. Celine's words had been haunting me the entire night. I didn't know what I'd do.

"Damn!" I cursed and sat up on my bed and checked the time to find out it was already 7:00 a.m.

I felt like a loser; my entire body was numb, and that hurt me. I needed answers, and I didn't know why no one was asking questions.

I couldn't remove from my head the memory of how Dante, Cole, and the guards looked at me after Celine had given the prophecy; they were afraid.

I ran away immediately and headed to my room, and no one cared enough to come to check up on me, not even Dante. I thought he would follow me and tell me that it was okay, but he did not; no one did.

Well, I got tired of thinking about all of these, so I stood up and decided to go meet Dante. I needed an explanation.
