Somebody I loved

It was true that Anne felt a connection with that tiger but unlike that angel she could not talk with it. Moreover if we talk about the mana part, it was solely inherited by her due to the God's blessing.

Just when she was in reverie Christiano called her name.

"Now that I have helped you, won't you give me a reward. "

Untangling the frown from her forehead she took a sigh.

" Yes tell me what you want. "

He effleurer (to touch lightly or brush against) his curtain bangs and said, " Can you spent the evening with me today? "

A clear sign of nervousness was there in his face and why won't there be? Days ago he got to know about her relationship with crown prince. Getting declined by a committed person for a date, has a high possibility.

She had no reason to decline so just went with with the flow.

" If it's just a evening then I have no problem with it. " She smiled brightly.

His face glowed with joy. He chanted some verses and a carpet appeared floating in the air.

He bent down on his knees and raising one hand towards her , he asked, " Then milady will you show your grace by stepping on this humble carpet of mine. "

She could not believe her own eyes.

" Holy cow! " She gave a glance towards it and then again turned her head towards him . " Are you Aluddin with the magic lamp? "

"What? "

' Oh I forgot. It was in my previous life. '

She coughed a bit and then said, " Stop wasting time .

She took her first step on it and slowly flipping her hair she said, " Now hurry up kitty. Evening is not too long to end. "

For her she might be an ordinary noble lady but for him she was no less than an angel. The way she always drinks coffee and forgets to smudge the stain from her rosy lips, her technique of handling her sword, the way she walks in her half awake state till Lily rebukes her every day, her each every move used to make him feel like living in a world of fantasy.

' I wish, she could feel the way about me like I feel for her. '

Both of them sat on the carpet and with his one command it flew up high in the sky. It flew as much high as the troposphere.

She held his hand and tried touched the clouds.

" It's amazing Kitty! I can feel the clouds."

As the sun started setting down they could see flickering lights coming from the city. It was such a beautiful sight!

Suddenly their eyes met with each other.

It was the night of full moon. He slowly took the initiative to kiss her. She was unable to calculate the motion and gave herself to him. Lips met with each other, eyes closed, just when his tongue was going to enter her mouth, she saw a faint image of a smiling man. She flinched and pushed him away quickly. Being astonished, she started gasping for breath.

" I am sorry. " He looked away with some guit and with some... pain. ' It is still too early Chris. Maintain your actions. '

After that she returned to her castle . She could not help herself but thinking about that faint image that appeared before her at that time. ' Do not know why he looked so familiar. '

Anne after reading that book tried to test that if she really had any of those mentioned powers... And the result was much disappointing.

At first attempt she tried to control the water of her bath tub but got drenched herself. ( Not to mention about those maids who were shocked and completely clueless about the sudden change in her behaviour)

In the second attempt she threw water on the floor  and was trying to move the water back to the glass. The water did nit move, her mother was crossing that path and fell on the floor as she slipped her legs on the damp surface. ( She was quite rebuked by her then)

At the third attempt she tried talking with a dog. When the duke got to know about this he called a doctor for her. He was like, " You will become well soon my dear. " ( No my dear, she was completely fine. 🙂💔)

So she then went to Crown Prince Caesar's castle to find any clue of those powers.

"Think me as a pomegranate seed." She took a candel and lit it. " Now slowly try to make a figure of dragon from it. "

That was the first time she asked something from him and no matter what he could not afford to loose before her!
