Chapter 35

Godfrey got a call from the outer family members who live in Iceland. He didn't like to travel during the summer. But the leaders of the family told him that is his duty. He was leaving all his jobs and going to Iceland for fixing family problems. He didn't know what is waiting for him. The day before the trip, he was taking enough sleep and had some medicines for his skin and health. He was rarely going out because of his health. He was not hunting humans for decades. Now, he was changing his eating habit to more vegetables and half rare meats. He had to drink the blood but not from humans and animals. The Biotech company produced the man-made blood and meats from the laboratory. Their technology saved many people's lives. He was moving up to find a cure for cancer patients. Till now, he decided to find the way back to humans again and humans get profit from their findings and research. He wanted to live among humans like them without being afraid of the sun and silver. There had one other kind which makes vampires weak. That was being the poisonous flower. The vampire hunter still used that flower poison to kill vampires. He was sighing while he look up above the sky full of stars. He was missing her still and wanted to see her again. He was waiting for her since that day she leave. He believed she will come back one day. Sometimes, he dreamt of her and he always try to grab her hand. She was disappearing always like the fog. He told, "Please come back to me Amelia, I am missing you so much". Then, he went to bed and lay down and sleep. He was not closing the balcony door. The curtains were moving by the wind. In that dream, he saw a little girl. He was trying to see her face but he can't. Suddenly, the tiny hand was grabbing his hand and said, "We will meet again". He was holding that hand back and looking at her. She was wearing a white hat with musk flowers. She was not looking at him. while he held her hand, it disappear little by little. He said, "Don't leave me". She said, "We will meet again please wait for me". He woke up after having a dream. He stood up and head straight to the desk beside the bed and draw it down on the paper. He didn't want to forget her figure. When it was done, he was holding back and looking. All of sudden, he heard the birds singing outside. He knew it was morning time. He was heading downstairs to have breakfast. He must do everything as planned before. When he reached, the breakfast is ready and part of his family already taking their seats. He was taking the seat at the top of the table and having breakfast with them. After that, he went to the airport to go to Iceland.

Selena was staying at the scary house without her mother. Everything seemed weird also people. Selena tried to act normal. But her reactions showed how she feel uneasy. She was feeling unwell with cold and dark. There had only one person who treat her nicely. That aunt was coming from Ireland and lived here with her husband. That aunt was managing the housekeeping jobs and she control the house well. Selena was following that lady and eating the snacks. The aunt was giving her homemade cookies sometimes. But the evil spirit Dollon disliked her. When she was alone, Dollon said, "Be careful and don't get too close to that lady". She said, "Why?". Dollon said, "Don't ask me much but I know she is someone dangerous to you". She said, "No one can destroy me so why do I have to scare". Dollon said, "If you don't believe me, check her right arm". She said, "How should I?". Dollon said, "Think the way to look by yourself so don't ask me". After that, Dollon disappeared and she even think every moment of Mrs. Albertsons. She tried to find out what is behind the smile. As she moved on with the investigation, her mother found the strange ring at the burial site. On the same day, she was feeling serious illness. Her mother was taking the black ring made of Lava stone to find more secrets. Because of her, her mother can not work well. She was not going to the hospital for the illness. The doctor was giving the pills for treating her illness. Seven days later, she was feeling better. She could live normally now but she wants to take a look at that ring. So, she was telling her mother, "Mommy, can you please let me see the ring you take". Her mother Julie was getting busy with books. She looked around the room and lay on her mother's bed. A few seconds later, her mother noticed her. Then, her mother Julie asked, "What's the matter do you feel unwell?". She said, "No, I want to take a look at the ring you took a week ago". Her mother Julie said, "It's not here". She said, "Do you think it's related to my sickness?". Her mother Julie said, "Come here". She was running up to her mother and hug tight. Her mother Julie said, "I must keep you safe from dangers so I need to find the secret of this". She said, "I am fine and I think I know this ring somehow". Julie said, "You do". She said, "yes, I believe my sense so please take me to the ring". Julie was holding her baby's shoulder and said, "Let's go to the lab together tomorrow, I promise". She said, "Yey, remember your promise". Julie said, "I will keep my promise if you don't believe let's copy". She was playing with her mother the copy game. Then, her mother said, "Do you want to sleep?". She was yawning and said, "Good night, mom".
