Chapter 21: As you wish, my Luna

Vince POV

I grab her hand and pull her along to the basement, "Vince, we can't" Violet says quietly. I sit down on the couch and pull her on top of my lap.

"I just want a little extra privacy with you, is that too much to ask for." I say seductively kissing her neck.

"No, but we can't." She says.

"We won't, I just want to be close to you." I say resting my hands on her thighs feeling the dull sparks dancing on my hands. I watch as she closes her eyes and relaxes into my touch.

"Then don't touch me like that." She says slowly.

"That's the mate bond, not me." I replied. She opens her eyes with a sly smile.

"What?" I ask and her look turns almost evil.

She leans in close, placing her hands under my shirt and slowly moves them up my body.

"Vi, you're playing a dangerous game." I slowly growl through the words.

"What do you mean, baby? I just want to be close to you." She whispers in my ear while scratching down my body.

"Violet, the sparks you feel are about ten percent of what I feel when you touch me. So, every touch is a million fireworks through my entire body." I say as she pulls at my shirt.

"Prove it," she says seductively.

"Your parents are-" she kisses me before I can finish and presses her body into me. I grab her hips, push her down against my bulging pants, and cause a moan to escape.

Pulling away from the hot kiss, "music to my ears, mate." I whisper to her.

"You're right, this is a very dangerous game, Alpha," Using my title causes Victor to push forward.

Careful mate, I don't want to mark you by losing control. Victor says to Violet.

"Okay, goodnight, Vince," she says, hopping off my lap and slowly walking up the stairs.

Our mate is a tease, we need to get our own place, quickly. Vic says to me.

No shit, I'm going to have to live in a cold shower until then. I think to myself.

I stand, walking into my half demolished room and dig through more boxes to find some clothes to sleep in.

Violet POV

I walk away from Vince as if my body isn't screaming at me to go back and finish the game we started. I am exhausted and in need of a shower.

My shower soothed the soreness from the cuffs and I am finally settled in bed. I try to comprehend the events of the last few days. My entire world was turned into a horror movie with a crazy sci-fi romance twist. Three months ago, I was just a nurse, taking care of common people, dealing with everyday life problems and living blissfully oblivious to the supernaturals roaming the streets. As for today; the love of my life is a wolf. I work at a wolf pack hospital, I was kidnapped by my ex psychopath and almost forced to marry him. No one would believe me, even if I showed them evidence. I stare at the ceiling, having trouble keeping the thoughts in my head quiet when my door slowly opens.

"Vince?" I question as I see his face come into view.

"I could hear you tossing and turning. Victor wouldn't shut up, I thought I would sleep on the floor to calm him." He whispers, holding a pillow and sheet.

My body relaxes as he makes himself comfortable on the floor. I lay on my side to face him and watch his chest slowly rise. I lower my arm to his face and watch his dark eyes stare at me.

"Goodnight Alpha," I touch his forehead. A small rumble came from his chest causing me to chuckle at his dominance coming through.

"Goodnight my sweet Luna," he answers, grabbing my hand and laying a kiss on palm.

With Vince so close to me, I finally have a quiet mind and slip slowly into darkness; I am hoping my dreams are still filled with Vince.

Vince POV

The sun starts peeking through the window, I hear Vi start to stir awake and I open my eyes to see her rubbing her face. I smile as her eyes meet mine, we stare at each other for what feels like hours until a knock on the door pulls our attention back to reality.

Violet's eyes widened, "Yes?" she calls out. The door slowly opens, Steve stands there with a smile and his eyes find me on the floor. Before he reacts Mary appears next to Steve, who is now looking very frustrated.

"Good morning kids! Vince, has Zane contacted you for that meeting you wanted to have?" Mary asked me.

"He has not. I will contact him after breakfast." I answer her question and stand to calm Steve before he explodes. "As for why I was sleeping on the floor, Victor was going crazy hearing Vi tossing and turning last night. The mate bond is strong and if I didn't come up he would've come up here and cuddled in bed." I finish and watch Mary place a hand on Steve.

"I understand Vince, I once had a mate as well but was rejected. Even as a human I felt the pain. Please just respect my daughter and home." Steve replied.

"My father taught me that a mate is the most important person in our lives. I could not live without her, to disrespect her, would be to disrespect my father and the Moon Goddess, sir." I say looking back at my beautiful mate. She blushes under my stare and looks at her parents.

"With that all said, I am going to make breakfast, and you need to get ready to go see Alpha Zane." Mary says.

"Okay, I will get up," Vi replies to her mom with a groan.

I chuckle at her, "Are you nervous for this meeting? Your heart raced everytime it was mentioned", I grabbed my pillow and sheet off the floor.

"I don't know what to expect, but I will be surrounded by family and supportive friends." She answers while stretching causing her shirt to ride up. I freeze as Victor pushes forward, I feel my eyes change and a deep rumble flows through my chest.

"Hello, mate," Victor says and Vi jumps at the tone difference.

"Victor, why did you force control?" She asks with a stern look.

"I missed you, my Luna." Victor answers with a bow of his head to show respect to our mate.

"I want Vince back now?" She demanded as she stood up, " I promise to see you in true form soon." She finishes holding her pinky up.

Victor growls in promise and I feel him sink to the back of my mind. I look at her feeling my eyes go back to their natural green.

I hold my pinky out to hers and chuckle at the size difference.

"What?" She questions hooking our fingers.

"Your pinky next to mine is like Hulk next to Thor. Both mighty, but one is tiny. I laugh as her face goes into shock and hurt.

"Says Mr. Giraffino, you big tree." She pouts and walks to the bathroom door before looking back for a second and slamming the door.

I chuckle at her fake pouting, heading downstairs to get changed. I find Steve in the kitchen drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.

"Is Vi getting ready?" Mary asks, looking up from the stove.

"She went into the bathroom, she was fake pouting because I said she was tiny next to me" I laugh reliving the moment.

"I mean, she is," Steve says, taking a sip of coffee not lifting his eyes from the paper." I laugh at his comment and continue down to my room.

If mate does not want to see me later, I will make sure to howl all night. Victor says with a loud howl.

I will apologize and bow at her feet for you. I reassure my big alpha pup.

I quickly changed, making sure to look presentable for our meeting. I hear Vi in the kitchen, making my way quickly up the stairs to apologize. I hit the top of the stairs, spotting Vi right away with her back to me.

"Vi, I would like to apologize for calling you Thor, please forgive me or Victor is going to howl all night." Steve and Mary turn to look at me while Violet keeps her back to me.

"You compared her to Thor?" Mary asked.

"I said I was Hulk and she was Thor. We are both mighty, but one is tiny." I restate the joke to Mary.

She looks at me holding in a laugh, "Oh sweetie, accept his apology. You know how Victor is with you." Mary keeps her laugh in and pleads to Violet.

"I will only speak with Victor." She states with power behind her voice.

She will be a wonderful Luna. Now, step aside so I can speak with my Luna. Victor purrs through my mind and pushes forward. I walk closer to her and pull her back into my chest, dropping my head into her neck.

"MINE," Victor growls out.

"Yes, Victor, I am yours. I want you to know I will never break a promise to you. You may share a body, but you two are both my mates." She turns around facing me. "Please, howl all night and I will make sure to have a wolf date soon." She finished. I groan to Victor.

"As you wish, my Luna," Victor replies with a bow. Victor pulls back and howls loud as soon as my eyes change.

We all sit to eat, I watch as Violet ignores my looks and tells her parents about the pups she can't wait to check on. I finish my food and excuse myself to call Alpha Zane. I walk out the front door, pulling my phone to my ear..

"Alpha Zane," He answers quickly.

"Zane, it's Vince, What time shall we arrive?" I ask.

"I will be available after 10am. I am still trying to put together all the information I have on the attacks to bring to the Council." He replies and groans at the task.

"We will be there around 10:30. I can help you with the Council paperwork, so we can focus on training the pack." I state to him.

"I will let the guards know you will be arriving." He said before hanging up. I can tell he is stressed by his tone, going to council with information like this; we need to have everything in order. I turn to go in as the door opens and Violet is standing there.

"Luna, how may I help you?" I ask her.

"What did Zane say?" She asked

"He is expecting us after 10am. It's almost a two hour drive, we will need to leave soon." I replied. She turns to tell her parents.
