Cyril was surprised after hearing someone's voice.
He was familiar with Xagan's voice so he knows that it wasn't him. As for the Red Goblins, they wouldn't dare to disrespect him or death would await them.
He can only make a guess that it came from other Demon Worshippers or perhaps, the statue is actually talking to him!
That's right! Perhaps the demon himself was the source of the voice!
Cyril analyzed his situation as he decided to answer the voice carefully. He couldn't find the speaker so he was probably using an Artifact to hide his presence or perhaps, he was just skillful enough to communicate with him using another medium.
"What action should I stop from doing, Senior?" Cyril probed.
He decided to politely address the old man since he's unsure of the strength of this person. Aside from that, he also asked Xagan to ensure his safety.
'Sir Xagan, where is that voice coming from, is he stronger than me?'
