To Pay A Visit
The movement in her swollen belly pulled Sue Terin from her dreamless stupor. The warmth from the roof's holes extended and touched her cheeks. And the sound of crashing waves slowly permeated her senses as the salty smell of the sea followed suit.
A pair of eyelids trembled before Sue Terin finally opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was a pair of clear black eyes staring straight at her as if its owner had been staring at her for quite some time now. Only then did she remember the incident that transpired a few hours ago before the daylight chased the darkness.
"Are you hungry?" asked Sue Terin. She did not know the exact reason, but seeing the child, it aroused her tender affection to the innocent children of the world.
The little boy, who was squatting a meter away from Sue Terin, shook his head softly. Both of his small hands cupped his plump cheeks while observing her with his doe-like eyes.
