Chapter Thirty-one_Romantic Lu Jingze

In a blink of an eye,it was nighttime and Nu Yanyan was preparing to sleep. She had spent the whole day casually lying on the bed, she had infact being too lazy to cook for herself.

It was pressurizing her that Lu Jingze had not called or texted,was he really that angry with her. She had become used to Lu Jingze being around all the time that she started to notice the essence of him being around.

Knowing she was at fault, she carried her phone and went to the message app,she stared at the pictures he sent to her the time he took her out for lunch.

Her heart kept on beating at an irregular rate,it was not a bad thing but was a good feeling. She started writing something to cheer him up.

From what she took notice of from Lu Jingze,he loved when she's being open about their relationship as the pursuer and pursuee.

Nu Yanyan had never been the romantic type but she was willing to try for him, she started to compose a sweet message.

It wasn't that long but it was enough for him to get sway, she was so immersed in writing that she didn't hear the squeaking of the windows.

"why is it so cold today?"she complained rubbing her hands together.

Why did it become cold so suddenly?.

She turned to the sight of the window and saw that it was open and she was a hundred percent sure that she closed it.

Could it be that a burglar was trying to get in?. Although Nu Yanyan wasn't scared,if Lu Jingze finds out that a burglar stole something from her,he might label her as a careless woman and she doesn't want to be reprimanded by Lu Jingze.

"Who's there?"Nu Yanyan carefully said after the bathroom tap started rushing. Just as she wanted to wanted to open the door,it flung open and a man with a bathrobe came out.

The bathrobe left a vshape on his chest revealing a great amount of biceps.

Nu Yanyan almost drooled,Lu Jingze chuckled at her silly expression. She was simply too cute,he rubbed her hair"Did you miss me?"he asked softly,Nu Yanyan subconsciously nodded vigorously.

"I missed you too,i have something for you"he said holding her waist with affectionate face. He took her to the window,Nu Yanyan was about to look down but Lu Jingze held her head"don't look down"he said and then brought out a lily flower from his back and handed it to her.

Nu Yanyan may not be romantic but she understood the meaning of the flower,a lily is a form of expressing a way of feeling remorseful.

"Now look down"he said. Nu Yanyan expectantly looked down but to her surprise,their was nothing there.

However their was a sound followed by various similar sounds. Nu Yanyan looked up and saw fireworks up in the sky.

The colors enhanced the beauty of the starless sky,it was really beautiful. Nu Yanyan looked at the whirling of the sounds at once and found it soothing in her ears,even the people walking and driving paused as they stared at the fireworks in amazement.

Nu looked at Lu Jingze after the fireworks were over, their were no words that can be used to express what she's feeling right now.

This man was really bent on making hee fall for him and it seems that it'd be sooner than expected.

Her eyes were clouded with tears that sting her eyes, she had no choice but to let it out. She had never received this kind of treatment in her previous life even with her parents and so-called sister.

But in this life,she received this kind of treatment from a total stranger she had just met.

Lu Jingze came forward and hugged Nu Yanyan"Why are you crying?...are you still mad at me?"Hearing his voice made her cry even harder in his arms.

"Jingze,am really sorry for what i did today...I was just upset"she said sniffing as she breath in his sweet scent.

"No need to apologize... it's the thoughts that counts".

Nu Yanyan nodded and released herself from his grip slowly,she then walked to the bed with Lu Jingze at her back.

"Why must you be this nice to me?...what if... what if i end up not falling for you?"She really do not want to lose him but wasn't she being too selfish.

Well if being selfish is what will keep Lu Jingze by her side, she would continue to be selfish till they grow old together.

Lu Jingze narrowed his eyes at her questions,have she realized her feelings but wasn't sure about it or she was still skeptical about my own feelings,Lu Jingze thought. "Well, that's not possible. You're my only one in this lifetime...if you don't fall in love with me,you would still be by my side till i die. You belong to me".

His possessiveness made her chuckle"Am really lucky for a man like you to have fallen in love with me"she boasted with a proud smile.

"Yes you are but know that this man here is really possessive"Lu Jingze said as a warning beforehand.

Nu Yanyan nodded"of course i know...am still amazed at to how you climb the window just to see me"Nu Yanyan said smelling the lily fragrance.
