Chapter Fifty-six_ This is my house yet you live here and sleep here (6)

Lu Jingze and Nu Yanyan walked together into the Lu corporation,it was way bigger and larger than Nu Yanyan's own by far.

Immediately they entered,all eyes were on them. Nu Yanyan was somewhat afraid at first at everybody scrutinizing gazes on her but Lu Jingze tighten his pressure on her hand a little more like telling her not to worry.

With that little encouragement,Nu Yanyan subconsciously straightened her back and walked to the elevator with Lu Jingze,it was a seventeen storey building,Lu Jingze pressed the button above the seventeenth floor.

Only when the employees heard the 'ding' of the elevator did they open their gossiping mouths.

-"why is Mr Lu here today?,he rarely comes to this organization"

-"is that what's bothering you?,what about the woman with him?"

-"She looks so pretty"

-"Maybe that's how she seduce him"

-"how sure are you that she seduce him?,they look so good together"

-"hmph...i thought you had a crush on him before?"

Before the other person can refute,Shi Rhue came into view. After Lu Jingze,they fear Shi Rhue also.

He didn't even say a word but everybody already got to work all on each other throat,the guys there all shook their heads wondering what the girls sees in Lu Jingze.

The elevator door opened and Nu Yanyan with Lu Jingze walked out together. Nu Yanyan stared at the office like apartment in amazement, she raised her head to look at Lu Jingze"where are we?"Nu Yanyan asked.

"My penthouse, sometimes if i have to work overtime. I sleep here"Nu Yanyan was confused,Lu had never slept outside since when she knows him. He was always with her except once in the hospital yesterday.

"You stay here while i go for the meeting"He said rubbing her hair in a comforting manner,Nu Yanyan held his arm"I was thinking of following you. I want to learn how to be a good business woman"

Lu Jingze eyes lit up when he heard her,with a tight grip,he held her palm in his"Let's go"Nu Yanyan happily obliged with him until her stomach rumbled loudly in the silence.

Nu Yanyan blushed uncontrollably,she just ate but her stomach wasn't full. She looked at Lu Jingze,he didn't stare back at her but instead called Shi Rhue.

"Sit,the meeting is on hold"Lu Jingze said bringing her to the sofa,after she sat down,he went to his single table and chair where a laptop was placed and began work.

Minutes later,the door opened and a table of different delicacies was brought before Nu Yanyan,at first,she was startled but since she was with Lu Jingze,she already understood why they were here.

Lu Jingze stood up and went towards Nu Yanyan,"aren't you hungry?"he asked.

Nu Yanyan nodded and began eating while Lu Jingze went back to work. It was a peaceful atmosphere between them,Nu Yanyan didn't notice but Lu Jingze was sneaking glances at her, he loves how she eats so boorishly,she doesn't even pretend to be elegant in front of him.

Back in his first lifetime,he had gone through a lot of dates and saw how ladies ate. He knew that those were façade but Nu Yanyan didn't bother to conceal herself.

He was happy that it was only with him she's free.

Only when Nu Yanyan was filled up did he finish his work,"how is it?"he asked walking towards her,he wonders how she still remains thin even after eating such a sumptuous meal.

"Delicious than the dishes i've eaten so far"his face darkened when he heard her answer,Nu Yanyan noticed this and immediately knew her words went the wrong way, she cleared her throat"I mean delicious than the restaurant dishes. My boyfriend's food is sweeter than both their dishes"Lu Jingze lips curved into a smile,he likes the compliments very much especially when she added '

my boyfriend'.

Nu Yanyan heaved a sigh of relief,she almost opened the cage for the lion to come out.

"The remains is still much,we should take it home with us"Nu Yanyan suggested,Lu Jingze shook his head and called Shi Rhue inside the room.

"Take all of this and distribute them to the employees,tell them that it's a gift for working so hard"Shi Rhue nodded and rolled the table full ot food outside.

Nu Yanyan looked at Lu Jingze,he had gone back to the computer. Not having anything to do made her feel sleepy but Lu Jingze was so handsome as he works like this,his hands tapped on the computer with little strength yet he tapped so fast.

Only the sounds of his fingers on the computer could be heard in whole room, it was soothing and seem to be the perfect lullaby for Nu Yanyan to finally fall asleep.

Her eyelids got heavy as she rested her head on the chair backrest, it was uncomfortable for her but she had slept in a much worst uncomfortable positions in the past.
