After Centuries of being the Demonlord, Gerar quits. Why must he torture men when it's no longer fun? Why must he conquer the world when there's nothing to gain from it? Why must he be the demon lord when there's nothing left to challenge? So, he decides to quit and just dies. But instead of being reborn as a weak demon or even a human, he gets reborn as an Angel and thus his journey to supreme godhood begins! . .. ... Hi, Yet here- So, this is a fantasy story but there are also sci-fi elements. There's a harem but Mc's not particularly into romance. This story is basically a culmination of the things I find interesting and hopefully, you guys will find it interesting too (It'll keep on evolving into different coherent stories as the volumes pile up). This'll also be my largest planned novel yet, so let's see how that turns out. I'll try to keep the updates regular and will release bonus chapters if I can. In return, I expect votes. Oh yeah, I do have a server. https://discord.gg/vnnbHCJ4Sn Thank you for reading; I wish you a good day.

Didn’t make sense

The next morning-

Mihael had a feast.

He also shared one leg with the other students who, again, ate the stuff like nectar from the gods. It might have actually tasted better than that nectar stuff though… Soft, juicy, meaty, and very, very nice….

Meanwhile, Sarveisa tried her best not to gag while holding a small furry crab in her arms, watching over them.

"By the way, Mihael, what's that thing, your mother's carrying?" Ereal said.

He rarely spoke.

So, when he did, he caught quite a lot of attention, not Mihael's though.

However- "That's Joe, a Magbeast." A pause. "And she's not my mother…" He didn't like living in misunderstanding land.

Huddled by a fire-

The four sat tight.

Meanwhile- other group were doing other stuff-

"Wait, really?" Raine said- "I thought for sure Mrs. Sarveisa was your mother…"

"Miss Sarveisa. She's not married."

Apparently, after sharing the crab leg, his group members had become a bit more talkative.

Meanwhile-

The other one, Miseli… seemed a bit confused? "Then… you really are a lesser?"

"If you mean, if I have no wings, then yes, I have no wings."

She sniffled… "Can I please pet you?" Was that pity in her eyes or something else?

"No."

Mihael didn't disable his anti-woman barrier, no.

Meanwhile-

"What the hell are those kids even blabbering about…" Sarveisa was… well… fuming a little. "Do I look that old?" She mumbled.

Teeth rumbling a bit-

First her grandmother-

Now the kids-

She was barely a thousand years old for crying out loud!

A mild sigh; she wore a smile.

A kind smile.

Her hands were anything but kind though, constantly mangling the crab in her hands.

Brutality-

"Um…a little left please-" The crab though- almost stared innocently, and-

Liked it?

With breakfast done, the class headed for their actual destination- the sacred edges.

The very edge of island.

Beyond the edge, only the null existed.

Nothing more-

And nothing less.

Some kids had experienced the show last night-

Others were still in disbelief.

Some wanted to just go home-

But-

Sarveisa encouraged them and even praised Mihael over and over again, making an example out of him. She emphasized that the god candidate could handle everything here.

And even if the kid couldn't, She would.

Or so she said.

But Sarveisa did understand-

Yes- Mihael was indeed stronger than her.

How?

How could a child be so strong?

How could he have such knowledge?

How could-

Zamas, the god who told her about the kid in the first place, actually had some theories.

One of which was that Mihael was a reincarnate of a god from the past. One of the ancient gods- gods who were stronger than the current ones.

So- why was he a lesser?

However- in that case, what about that angel like yet, not so angel like aura he always emitted?

Not many could sense aura to begin with so she thought maybe she just sensed wrong. But the comment from the crab last night made her question things-

Again.

'No… this was not a wrong decision.'

For that-

For her cause-

No matter what- she had to make Mihael a god.

And she was going to do that… no matter what.

Clean white sky-

Blackish white horizon and clouds.

"I don't feel much world energy here-" Ereal said.

Since morning he'd been a lot more talkative around Mihael.

"It's still here, just less dense," Raine said.

Mihael mostly ignored them. Not worth his time

However, one thing did catch his attention.

"How come there's so many Fallen here?" He asked Sarveisa.

On their way- they didn't encounter any Holy beasts.

They did however see many fruit and berry plants.

"Fallen?" She wondered aloud. "What's that?"

"Those flying black coat things-"

In the distance, past the horizon- where darkness loomed- quite a few black things floated about. They appeared to be humanoid without limbs and just floated as though old rags in water-

Aimless.

"Ah, the denizens of the void…" Sarveisa paused. "Yeah- why are there so many… so close?"

The island was indeed close to the world barrier.

However- not close enough for those things to be there-

"They've been inching closer and closer-" said the crab. "In due time, they may invade this place."

"That's absurd!" Sarveisa yelled, but calmed down the second she noticed the incoming stares.

This was Godness Gracicus Academy and though they were close to null-

None of those things should have been here!

None!

Not a single one!

Yet-

At least a good two dozen.

Something wasn't right, and it didn't take a genius to figure that part out.

However-

"Pack your things, we're going back!" She yelled.

"But- we just got here!" Some kids protested.

They were finally at the enteral spring zone. They were supposed to explore- collect fruits- have fun!

And yet-

"NOW!" A roar!

"MAM!"

With everything packed-

White dazzling particles flew-

They warped out of the place straight to the Zwin field of the academy.

Teleport stones were precious stuff and normally they weren't allowed to carry any.

But Sarveisa had insisted yesterday and thus-

"Mihael, you go register this thing with the clergy, I'll be there once I finish talking with the headmistress."

"…"
