Chapter 29: The Next Morning

Waking up the next morning, I wanted to crawl into a hole and dissappear upon seeing the situation I was in.

I was laying in bed cuddled up to the side of a freaking human devil.

Colton.

"Goodmorning Sunshine!" He said with that devishly handsome smirk of his, making me blush like a little school girl as always.

"Goodmorning." I said trying to play it cool as I struggle to remember just exactly what happened the night before.

As a flood of the previous nights events flood into my mind, I couldn't help turn away from Colton on instinct to hide my burning face.

I can't believe I gave my first kiss of two lifetimes to this man while I was drugged, I really just can't controll myself around this devil god, can I?

As I was lamenting in self pity, Colton wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me into his lap as he sat up.

"You know I could get used to this.." He said in a seductive whisper as he held me.

"This position or waking up to me in this sorry state?" I joked with a smirk.

"Both, but waking up to your beauty first thing in the morning definitely tops this position." He said as he turned her to face him.

My heart was beating so fast, I was sure he could hear it. This man is dangerous, but I find myself not wanting to resist the new feelings he is stirring up in me.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and gently kissed his lips that I swear were just on his face to tempt people.

His rough hands, held my waist as he started to kiss me back, but before we could get too much more into the kiss, I jumped off his lap quicly and ran to the bathroom.

I shut the door and leaned against the back of the door as I felt my lips that still had a tingling sensation from the kiss.

While Serenity was deciding her next move in the bathroom, Melody was just waking up.

Melody couldn't help but moan in pain as she sat up in bed.

"Careful babe, I may have been a little too harsh on you last night." Braxton said with a grin as he picked up his woman and walked her to the bathroom.

Melody blushed as the memories of their sexual intercourse flooded her head.

"Fuck." She couldn't help but curse at herself for being so promiscuous.

"I hope you know that you will never be able to escape from me now. Your mine." Braxton scolded Melody as he helped her into the shower.

"It's about time, if I knew I just had to take my clothes off to get you, I would have done that months ago." She said without hesitation as she pulled him into the shower with her and started passionately kissing him.

He groaned as he turned the shower on and warm water cascaded over their bodies. He pushed her against the wall. "Fuck baby, I didn't know you wanted me too." He said, irritated at himself for not noticing her feelings or they could have been together much sooner instead of just torturing himself with thoughts of it.

"You know now..So show me how much you want me too." She said biting her lip seductively.

He growled and proceeded to give her exactly what she needed in order for her to understandjust how much he wanted her as his woman.

As Melody and Braxton were getting intimate once more, Serenity had just gotten out of the shower and had already gotten dressed in the clothes that Colton had someone bring up for her.

I emerged from the bathroom wearing a white ruffled sundress that made me look extra dainty, well if you ignored the ugly bruises that showed up darkly on my body after the shower and the bandage wrapped around my head.

Great, I look like a sick patient....again.

Seeing Serenity coming out of the bathroom, Colton was completely awestruck at how gorgeous she was. She looked like a breath of fresh air.

When he noticed the bruises that had become more visible, he had to bite back the anger he was feeling toward those men who dared to lay a hand his little beauty.

I couldn't help but blush as Colton looked at me. Dahm this man, always making me feel so childish around him.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the bedroom before I could get lost in my thoughts.

When we exited, my mouth immediately started watering as I saw the small table in the room filled with yummy breakfast delicacies like french toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, and fruit.

"Silly girl, go eat." he said, smiling at me as he nudged me gently.

I didn't need another invite as I sat at the table and started making a plate and eating my fill.

Food is good.

After I finished eating, I looked up to see that Colton just finished eating too.

"Okay princess, time to go, your brother must be freaking out." he said as he held out his hand to me.

I grabbed his hand as if it was the most normal thing to do and like a puppy, was led out of the room.

As we walked out of the hotel room into the hall way, we just so happened to bump into Melody and Braxton.

Melody screamed dramatically and hugged me tightly when she saw me.

"My baby Serenity, I am gonna kill those bastards, how dare that bitch make a play on us. I can't believe you would give up yourself to save me..." She said and man, this girl can go from happy to angry to sad and then back again in a mere seconds.

"You are my friend, you would have done it for me too." I said simply.

She linked arms with me and then pulled me toward the elevators as Braxton and Colton followed us.

Once we were in the lobby, Melody whispered to me, "Oh boy, was your night as good as mine?"

Noticing the hickeys littered on her body that couldn't possibly all be covered up, I smirked, "Not as good."
