Kannon could only close her eyes before the young man could take a bite on her neck. Even though marking her should be done during an intercourse but him taking a taste of her makes Kannon feel disgusted.

"Bang!!!!!*" The door suddenly fell down as a huge force hit it.

It was like a beast knocking down the door with much ease, it felt like being caught red handed while hiding.

The two could feel an intense gaze being shot towards them, the gaze itself was enough to indicate that the owner was ready to murder someone.

A predator staring at a fellow predator yet at that one moment it was the matter of who is dominant, and the answer was clear.

"Kannon would you mind stepping out a bit?" Dakota pulled them apart and forced out a smile towards Kannon although she was smiling it was way too obvious that she was pissed off.

"Hmmmm....ok" Kannon replied as she walked outside the room and immediately went to find Indigo.

Kannon felt uneasy upon seeing Dakota in such state.

Seeing Kannon was out of sight Dakota stared at the man who was looking at her with disbelief. Her hand grabbed his face and pushed him on the ground causing him to kneel while being under force.

Her force was too great that the young man felt her hand crushing his skull while pinning his body in the ground.

Her smile was long gone and she had a frosty expressionless face. Although they were both alphas this just proves her dominance.

"Y-your are a...k-king alpha!!" the man screamed in agony.

King alphas were the highest position any alpha could achieve, only those who were born with it can become one. King alphas were the type that leads a group of alphas, their words are absolute and cannot be defied once they gave an order. They are extremely rare that are less than 1 percent of the population, they are far rarer than omegas.

"Tsk" irritated by his words Dakota used her leg and kicked him.

She took out a handkerchief and wiped her hand and threw it away as if she just touched somehting disgusting, which she did anyway.

"Took me a f*cking time to find you and you almost tainted Kannon" Dakota walked closer and landed him a kick again and this time her foot stepped on him.

"What am I supposed to do when Kannon gets traumatized by someone like you??" Dakota was pissed off although she appeared calm her actions doesn't say so.

So she needed to be affiliated in the underworld society to be able to keep Kannon safe? A load of bullsh*t!

"Miss Dakota I beg you to let my son go!! I'll be the one to discipline him!!" Tsuguri knelt on the floor begging Dakota.

Her eyes landed on him and shifted back to his youngest son.

"See that?? No child should make their parents kneel on the floor" Dakota spoke as she walked away.

Although what she said sounded like hypocrisy at least Tsurugi was a better parent than her own.

"Thank you!! Thank you!!!" Tsuguri spoke.

"I've spared you once but there won't be twice" she muttered before walking outside the room.

She prevented blood bath today that's just because Kannon wouldn't like it.

"Kannon" Dakota muttered as she stared at her while standing beside Indigo.

This time her tone is in relief and gentle completely different from earlier.

"You came" Kannon replied shifting her gaze to the side as a tinge of pink could be seen in her face.

Indigo sensing the atmosphere felt a little awkward, but looking at Dakota she could tell that she is much more attractive compared to magazine.

[The magazine did no justice to her!!!]

Indigo screamed in her heart completely in stunned by Dakota.

"Dakota" Hairi came and stared at the group. Just by looking at Dakota staring at Kannon affectionately all her answers were answered.

Hairi gave a small smile she then went inside one of the rooms and took out a pair of blankets

"Sigh* Allow me to take you home" Hairi spoke as she stretched her hand towards Indigo.

Both of them already had notice the need to leave the two alone. Hairi wrapped a blanket towards Indigo, she noticed the very thin material that Indigo was wearing and thought that she might be cold considering the air conditioner in the hotel.

"Indigo!" Kannon was shocked seeing her friend being taken away by a stranger.

"Don't worry I'll get home safe" Indigo gave a wink as she walked away with Hairi.

"She'll be fine she's with someone that is very reliable" Dakota wrapped Kannon with the blanket that Hairi handed to her.

"Let's also leave this place" Dakota spoke holding Kannon's hand.

"You know you took long enough" Kannon shyly stated.

Dakota chuckled knowing that Kannon did not mean her words, the shy expression on her face doesn't say so.

"You know I went to the nightclub but you weren't there and then we found out that you were transferred to a hotel" Dakota replied with gentle smile.

[That must be the time where they put us to sleep!]

Kannon thought, her gaze fell on Dakota's hand that was holding her, the warmth made her feel safe.

"You know this isn't my apartment" Kannon spoke as she stared at the expensive condo.

"I know this is my place" Dakota replied as she walked inside still holding Kannon's hand unwilling to let go.

"I'm grateful for saving me but if anything happens I'll hold you accountable for it!!"

Dakota's footsteps halted as she heard Kannon's words. Kannon was also surprised at Dakota's sudden reaction.

Dakota faced her while staring seriously at Kannon, it made Kannon unconsciously step back until her back felt the cold wall. Dakota's gaze made her feel small and aware of her place, Dakota could make her feel safe and put her in danger at the same time.

"Oh what do you think will happen??" Dakota made a playful smile as she put her arm against the wall and stared at Kannon with amusement.

[There it is again!!! That playful smirk!]

Kannon was furiously blushing as she stared at Dakota.

"You know the...the..the.t-thing.."

"The what??" Dakota's smirk deepens while staring at Kannon's face.

"Y-You are really impossible!!!" Kannon spoke can't bear Dakota's teasing.

"But seriously what happened earlier, I can't get it out of my head. What would have happened if I was a second late" Dakota buried her head in Kannon's neck.

[She was thinking of such things]

Kannon smiled warmly.

"But that didn't happen you were there to save me. On the contrary I was even grateful you came" Kannon had a tear escape in her eye.

[Even if it was too late]

Kannon bit her lips, she was scared but she had to maintain composure and now her tears couldn't help but fall down on her cheeks.
